I anyone can find a cheaper one thought please let me know !

Got to add minimum of P&P of £4.79 to this price (super saver) making it a minimum of £22.28 but probably still a good price.

Thanks - updated.

What a missleading title!! Please change.

Should be...

Plexus 5-Port Gigabit Switch - £17.49 + £4.79 P&P @ Ebuyer.com

Why is this misleading?

A saving of 30% is £7.50. The price associated with the post clearly states exactly how much the item is (£22.28) including postage..

I will never buy another plexus product as long as I have a hole in my ****.

Rated cold *shudder*

For the benefit of the reading public - would you care to explain?

I personally havent experienced any problems with them to date.

I bought a power bar that was branded plexus only for it to explode when I plugged it into the wall.

Isnt that likely to be a one off defect? Did you try another?

No? What do you think I am? Some sort of masochist?

Isn't that like firing a loaded handgun into your testicles, realising it hurts, and then trying again a second time to make sure?

Well, the two reviews for this product on the Ebuyer website seem to be pleased with the product.

No self destructing switches reported !

Because not all of us view it in the expanded view and so cannot see that price. Also the forum rules say that the price needs to be included in the title, along with the retailer.

And its annoying as i thought it was £7.50 and was well up for buying it!!

Sorry to get your hopes up.

1) I will read the posting rules as I wasnt aware of this.
2) I didnt know there was another view other than detailed.
3) If it was £7.50 I would buy several more myself. But at 17.50 + p&p it is still a good price !

Surely omitting (the all important) price from the HUKD text view is an oversight?

Useful information:

You will have to use Cat5e or above cable to get gigabit transfer speeds.

However, if you have 8 wires wired up in your cat5 cable then you should get gigabit network speeds, however
Cat5 cables with only 4 wires wired up will only give you 100mb connectivty,

I'm going to use this on my network so I can set up Microsofts free SyncToy to transfer files to a central remote location (this will eventually be a NAS).

Looks like ]SyncToy version 1.4 is the best to use for XP/Vista 32.
