Good price, I'm guessing no way of talking to the PC tho (drivers etc.) in order to automate saving and shutting down, or going in to hibernate. Really what I want is just a battery supply to run the modem and router during a power cut so I can stay online using my laptop.

looks appalling build quality, rating is very low as well...i would rather spend a bit more on something decent....apc or belkin are fine for home use

For £4 extra they do one that does the automatic shutdown ]HERE

I have a larger APC unit, however the battery eventually failed. cost to replace the battery was about £50! I can nick the lead from that so I don't need to pay more than the £19 :-)

I got one of these for my brother, and it looks ok, but remember to buy the connecting mains cables, they don`t seem to come with it ( I think you call them male to female / plug and sockect )
It comes with a power cable for the unit, and thats all.
