Very good customer service.

I have an 8ft plum trampoline. On mine the tops of the poles which hold the netting up are made of plastic and they have snapped a few times in very bad weather. Plum sell all their component parts separately and these were only 99p to replace. Most companies gouge their customers for spare parts.

Is the letchworth store open yet?

Yes till 10PM but they’re probably all gone Tbh. There were a ton of people at Aldi and they probably saw the trampoline

My bad it was Stevenage
Mmmm' ?
I've seen this Plum Trampoline deal on here recently, But whilst in the Stoke branch today,, the 8 foot was £99.00, & The 6 foot' what they class as a junior trampoline was a whacking £79.99, IMO. They're just taking advantage of "Springtime"

Agree. Metal zipper pull broke on ours after 3 months light use. Plum sent out a whole new net.
Few weeks back. It was 8ft on about 20 pounds good find
Bargain! I have an 8' from last year at full price (but happy toddler/pre-schooler), and it has survived winter brilliantly without being covered. No corrosion or visible damage at all. Impressive compared to some that the neighbours' have seen go bad.

This is probably one of a few stores that have last years stock to ged rid before putting new stock out, great find but bit of a goose chase
I have to go on a two day intensive course with an update every 2 years to be able to teach trampolining plus a British gymnastics membership yet people let children on these unsupervised...sadly seen what can happen as a result of an incorrect landing too. I'm not sure they should be sold to the general public so I'd think twice and book a session down at the local leisure centre instead...

Ban this stop that

A three word response, then a four word response. A few too many incorrect trampoline landings on the head I reckon

You have training/lessons to drive a car and you are trained to do the job you do yet anyone, including the ones most important can go on a potentially dangerous piece of equipment with no training - don't say I haven't warned you as overconfidence on these things is the biggest danger.

Yep, people still drive like idiots and people still cant do a days work.

People dont buy these to do proffesional gymnastics on, most people buy these to jump on it for fun.

I don't think its healthy to assume anyone needs to be trained or qualified to have fun.

What about bike riding too? Qualify the kids man qualify the kids

Yes there is a risk with any physical activity but kids are allowed to ride bikes without any formal training and can be injured or even killed.

Should be ban bikes as well, where do we stop.

These trampolines are fantastic exercise for kids, I thinkit great to see kids playing out in the nice weather rather than inside on games consoles.

Any decent parent teaches their child to ride a bike safely because they have the experience to do so - how many parents take the time to research correct technique on a trampoline and supervise their children properly when on them - think we all know the answer. Free country and parents can do what they like with the safety of their own children, I was merely trying to help people consider the dangers these items carry.

Why do think parents don’t know about Trampolining safety and don’t supervise their children.

Many parents will have visited trampoline parks which have safety demonstration videos.

Parents do tend to keep an eye on their kids while trampolining in the garden.

Parents aren’t watching their kids the whole time they are out on their bikes.

You don’t need to do a two day course to learn how to bounce safely on a garden trampoline.

You require that level of training presumably because you are teaching the kids gymnastics skills.

I don’t know why you think you are better than everyone else because you’ve done a course.

I regularly attended trampoline classes, and I am aware about safety on trampolines both myself and kids.

I know people pick up injuries trampolining, I have also seen the injuries picked up by cyclists.

I imagine their are far more deaths from cycling accidents than trampolines yet you aren’t saying ban bikes for sale along with the trampolines you want banned.

I don’t why you can’t accept that other activities carry risks yet people still allow their children to take part.

This should be removed as the one ' found' today at Tesco. Me receipt, no photo of the price+product. Don't know why admins allow "deals" like these here.

I don't think I'm better than anyone else - I'm just more qualified in the area than most others are. This means I'd rather share my opinion on the matter than keep it to myself. If one parent had read this and reconsiders buying one of these and I've prevented just one accident then that's fine for me.

And FYI there are great cycling courses such as bikeability which I also instruct which serve the purpose to help young ones stay safe on the roads.

Let's be honest most parents will not be closely supervising their kids on the trampoline. you are also naive if you think kids are going to merely bounce up and down without trying moves such as somersaults. Most parents wouldn't have the slightest clue how to teach this properly and this is what makes it dangerous.

More accidents happen on bikes because more people cycle. Simple.

I’m afraid I still disagree with you over the risks and we’ll just have to agree to disagree as you can’t accept what I’m trying to say.

If you banned cycling you could prevent children’s deaths.

Sadly one young lad died recenlty cycling on the road the two other boys were seriously injured.

I haven’t heard of a child dying on a trampoline in the same area.

If I tried to stop parents buying a bikes I could stop injuries and deaths.

I’m sorry for anyone who has lost a loved one in a cycling accident.

I don’t think bikes should be banned or it irresponsible to let children ride them out and about, equally I think trampolines are fine for kids I think both bring a lot of enjoyment.

Your opinion is clearly unwarranted when you are dictacting to people about how they raise their kids then suggesting they are clueless.

I would rather my kids be playing on a trampoline than walking around the streets or kicking a ball at a neighbours cars

Some of us don't worry like yourself

Some of us are more qualified than you think.

In new Zealand there is a school which is qualified enough to be the most prestigious school in the country.

The best results, the best behaviour and most of all, the kids are much smarter and they live by one rule, there are no rules

I know your obviously proud of your qualification but I am not qualified in anything and run a few businesses.

Just because you have a piece of paper saying your qualified, it doesn't mean you are.

Clearly no one cares what you have to say. So just leave it here instead of expressing your hurt ego because no one cares

Footballs dangerous, riding is dangerous, crossing roads is dangerous, being a passenger in a car is dangerous.

That's life

Something I dont need to be qualified for

The best thing about being unqualified is that I dont have to wake up every morning and run to do a job I hate. I spend all my precious time with the people that mean the most to me

When a child you know is paralysed from a trampolining accident then I hope you find time to think back on this...I have simply stated a concern that is valid and warrants a second thought rather than an impulsive purchase without thinking about all the factors. You should be ashamed of yourself.

OK bouncy Mcbouncy

God your drivel is old and retired

Please shame someone else. What a terrible example of a responsible parent you are.

Try learning to communicate a bit more effectively

Your kids might know how to bounce but I cant imagine they are too happy with all this retoric.

Do you dish out qualifications for walking upstairs safely?

What about peeing in the dark? That's a dangerous sport too

What a bunch there is on here

People dictacting to others about vaccines, their careers, charity, their parenting skills

Whatever next
