Yes it should be fine, i have the 5gb plusnet sim and i only use 3gb in a month and that is normal daily use even watching the odd facebook videos.
I have ordered but it did not ask me if i need to port my number!!!

Just get your PAC and call Plusnet to activate the SIM and give them the PAC then.

You can do it by text, even easier instructions are on the card the sim comes with.

Nah happened to few of my friends too much quicker ringing
My dream of the following Plusnet tariff:-

My wife is interested in this but isn't sure whether we can get an acceptable Plusnet signal in our house. I know there's a 14-day cooling-off period with these things but if the SIM took 10 days to arrive would she already have accrued service charges for that period if she then decided to cancel due to poor signal?

It wouldn't ever take 10 days to receive. Best bet is give em a go
