Yep, just ring them up. After six months you can chop and change to your heart's content.

Given that they're owned by BT, I'm guessing EE

That is correct, I get excellent speeds.
Nice find! Heat added!

I'm on 12gb a month for a tenner. With rollover. On a 30 day contract.

But you'll need a time machine to get that.

And it's with ID. So, technically, Three ....
Go with a similar sky deal, plusnet are cowboy crooks being deliberately run in to the ground by bt.

My partner tried last time when they had it, or it was 8gb for 10pounds(also on uswitch) and they did it

I'm not sure there is a six month restriction to upgrade. I have an existing 30 day rolling contract already.
Don't forget, Plusnet do not support short code messaging. Bit of a pain if you have to respond to security SMS from the bank.

Also, there basic voicemail doesn’t provide a facility to capture the telephone number of a caller. So if you’re not in a mobile signal area and the call goes straight to VM and the caller doesn’t leave a number, and just says “please call me back” game over, as there no way to find out who called you, unless you recognise the voice / person. Every other mobile provider I’ve been with, and I’ve been with a few the VM provides a caller ID facility, so be aware, whilst the price is good, there some drawbacks to the Plusnet mobile product / service.

Is there a similar sky deal? I find the app really good, and anytime I've called their customer services they are are quick, friendly and helpful. What makes you say they're cowboy crooks?

Certainly used to be, maybe they've changed it. All their contracts are 30 day so not sure what you mean.
Am with virgin (EE) network they use.

I have a pay monthly sim
Pay £12.00
Contract 1 Year
Text messaging Unlimited
Calls Unlimited
Data 12GB but if you do not use the full 12 GB any you have remaining get rolled over every month so currently today I have 21GB to use

You don't have to pay by Direct Debit like some network phone companies ask for.

You can get a payment card and use this at any pay point to pay your bill.

After 3 months you can have a family account off you wish ( I haven't looked into this yet)

You can have upto 40 GB data if you use that much that is.
Extra information

Data-free Messaging on WhatsAapp, & Facebook Messenger & Twitter: Standard UK messaging (video, picture, audio) does not deplete data allowance.

Flexible Plans: Change your airtime plan up or down without penalty at any time during your contract. New allowance and price applies from your next monthly billing cycle until you switch again.

People have there favourites people don't like to change I understand that I have been there myself

Just thought I would let u peeps know what I have

Some of their contracts are actually 12 months.
I had a £3.99 0.5GB sim then upgraded in 5th month to £5 1.5GB both were 12 months term

So they are, they're all more expensive than any of the 30 day ones though so can't imagine why anyone would want one.

They offer a few 12 month deals, and some extra data if you're also a broadband customer, but I personally find the 30 day contract a no-brainer as can change plan quickly if they offer a better deal. Was previously paying £9.45 for 5GB, and when I saw this latest deal for a few pence more... Was actually surprised how easy it was to change and my new deal goes into play this coming renewal cycle.
Plusnet have fantastic customer service. I only changed my sons phone contract as 3 were offering a far better deal, but I had been with them for years without any problems

nick66 did you ring them up and get them to match the 9GB Uswitch offer plus the 2GB for being an existing
broadband customer ? Or did you do it the transfer on the Uswitch site, as I can’t seem to see a way of doing that,
in particular a way to include the detail that you are an existing Plusnet BB customer

Just followed the get deal link, then continue on uswitch. At the top of the screen on the Plusnet page there's switch for existing customer. It just ask you for your username and postcode to validate you're an existing user.

Thanks. Called them last night and went for the 9gb for 10£, as I don't have broadband from them .
Called them today as when I tried to process the deal online it did not let me, ended up with 10 gb for £10, even better
