Best mobile operator I've ever dealt with. Been with them 3 years

New or existing customers?
Shows 50 cashback on quidco as well so effectively 4.8 a month. Brilliant deal

Looks like existing customers get 8GB of data instead of 6GB. Nice to see them but being penalised.

I believe new customers only but it's worth existing customers checking T&Cs or contact Plusnet regarding cancelling existing plan and purchasing this to see if they'd be eligible for this new price.
Three do 8GB for £9 a month if you need a little bit extra data

Oooh great, I've been paying £8.40 for 4.5GB ever since they put their prices up, this seems like a no brainer.

Can't seem to see this deal on their site, 5gb/unlimited mins and texts for £9 per month for 12 months but not 6gb of data. Have I missed something?
Which network do they piggyback on?
Has anybody used a Plusnet sim in a tablet for an extended period without it being throttled or blocked?

I've just checked the original link and the deal appears to have gone. However it's still available through Quidco so I've updated the link.
Communication through Plusnet isn’t great. Online chat never seems to work. Recent outage this week was not communicated at all - website/FB/Twitter said no problem with service but a quick google to 3rd party service checker said service affected UK wide. Good deal and ok if you don’t need to contact them.
Do you think you have to cancel if your already with to them to get the cash back for a new 12 month contract, also when done a deal with them before they have given me the better deal as if I have broadband with them ,which I don't ( with this deal it's 8 GB if have broadband )???
I hate cash back deals as they are never gauranteed, still voting hot as £9/month is a good deal!

Finished 1 contract with them, was a doddle.

How did they mess you around?

Unfortunately all those who rave about how great they are will only change their view when they experience what terrible complaint procedures they have. They don't have a procedure at all. Just customer reps promising things that do not materialise. I know other companies can be bad but twice I have had to spend hours over multiple calls repeating the issue with different reasons and ways forward offered. It is very difficult to get one of their Ambassadors to deal with it and they are just call centre reps.
Two months without a signal due to them sending a new sim which in the end was not the problem and the old sim could not be terminated thoroughly so the new one was was stuck pending. That has happened to others so be aware. They are all nice to talk to but what good is that if they cannot sort things out. They offered a cheap deal when I was switching away but I would rather pay a bit more to avoid issues. I think expansion and being BT owned now has impacted on their once top service.

I had no issues with the customer service at plusnet.
But boy can you tell this is a piggy back on the EE network! Regularly I just couldn’t make a phone call but my wife with EE could! I would regularly have very slow 3G signal when yet again my wife’s EE sim would be fine. After a few times of just not being able to make a call for no reason I’d had enough and moved away.
Owned by BT and using EE network also owned by BT. Had no issues until I tried to upgrade to a larger data contract which was a complete screw up. Going to move elsewhere. As others have commented I've also had signal but unable to take/make a call recently.

Virgin piggy back off EE and it's not fantastic either. That's the way it is unfortunately.

The signal you get is always the 'diet' version IMO
Been using them nearly 2 years or so. There were occasions where I couldn't make phone calls or use data. Just waiting for a better deal to pop up that isn't Three.
