This looks like the best broadband deal (not fibre) I can find. £198 up front for a year line rental plus £1 a month for the broadband.

£50 cashback direct from Plusnet makes it just over £13 a month with a 12 month contract.

Pretty sure this is the best (non retention) deal at the moment? No fibre speed connection where we are - so Think I am going to go for it.

Also potential for £60 quidco - which would make it £8.32 - but not sure if can combine the plusnet cashback and the quidco on the same deal.

Good deal but they didn't honour Quidco when I joined last year.
I think if you go through the cashback sites, the £50 direct cashback offer isn't displayed.
Yep. Noticed that too. If you click thru quidco and go to the homepage it comes up again. I doubt you'll get both though.

Anyone know of a cheaper deal before I make the switch later?

I know origin can sometimes be cheaper but their customer service is appalling apparently

Maybe Sky's "Broadband Unlimited" through Topcashback - £18.99 for 12 months, £19.95 setup, £50 cashback and a £50 reward card (assuming they mean you'll get both cashback and a reward card) comes to £12.32 per month.

On customer service, had awful issues moving home with Plusnet - 5 engineer visits and 7 and a half weeks no service before I got fed up and moved to BT directly.

Admittedly an unusual case as previous owners had BT line ripped from telegraph pole but BT directly sorted it much quicker. Expensive but seem to be prioritised by Openreach - allowed or not.

You’re right there. They still owe me nearly £30. It’s gone from supposedly being in my bank before a certain day to we only refund customers with cheques. Does anyone know if I can claim through the bank and direct debit guarantee?
I’m in the last month of my plusnet contract, what retention deals have people been offered
When i was with plusnet last year i got both quidco cashback as well as plusnet cashback
I have a phoneline with BT but no broadband on it. Would I still be able to get this deal or is it only for those with existing broadband connections?

Did you send it back??
Signed up earlier this afternoon - Quidco tracked at £60 - So if it all works out - Should be about £8.50 p/m.
Hope it helps someone else -
Strange. If I click through via Qudico it says "in partnership with TopCashBack" yet url states Quidco and is asking for £22.50/month, £10 activation, and 18 months, no £50 PN cashback

Straight to the site and it's 19.95 for 12 months plus £50 cashback.

Seems like they're trusting cashback users to not check non-cashback links, damn them!
TCB tracked at £60 immediately.
They wanted an extra £50 to send an openreach engineer round
Has anyone managed to click through TCB and then navigate to a page on plusnet website where the £50 cashback from plusnet is advertised....seems they may have got wise to that?
If you can use Quidco(?) - going to the main link page should have a plusnet icon on it - click that - takes you to home page- tracked for me that way.

Cheers.
Quidco tracked straight away, just got to wait it out for the rejection now

Dont bother with PlusNet. They wriggle out of of the cashback after waiting 3 months. "Our Marketing team have advised us that your account isn't eligible for affiliate cashback due to being eligible for cashback directly through us instead. You should've receive your £50 reward card about a month ago."

Also I did a home move 3 weeks before Christmas (£114) and on the activation day they moved it to sometime in January. So I have been without Internet all over the holiday period.
Quidco didn't track
will have to cancel within 14 days and use TCB instead
Repeated failures getting boring from quidco
How do we go about claiming the Plusnet cash back?

Old provider cut us off a day before Plusnet are due to begin service...go figure. Not 'seemless' as promised.
Can someone tell me if you can get a WiFi deal without broadband.
Went for this deal as I was paying 18.99 on Sky and they wouldnt push it down. Quidco tracked so fingers crossed to push it down to £8+ pm
