Apologies, just checked again, and in fact not live (again) yet. Ordered this deal 2 days ago (and presumed still avail) and already received sim-although 750 mins but unlimited texts. Family has 3 of these, all on 1.5gb £5 plans-no probs with plusnet at all. They keep stopping and starting with this plan, but is great value for a £5.
hotukdeals.com/dea…717

Which one is better network connection and all that ?

Mostly need data.

Currently on giffgaff £5 goodybag
Maybe better- I'm on ID mobile (owned by carphone warehouse) for £5 = 250minutes; 5000 texts and 2.25gb.....if you don't use up all your data it rolls over to the next month.

Annoying because everytime I listen to my voicemail my minutes reduce too

Got this last week for my daugher. Great deal, and I've found the customer service and chat feature very good. Also you can cap the usage to £1 so no nasty suprises.
Was on live chat to them earlier to upgrade an existing tariff and got offered a 3.5GB data / 2000 mins / unlimited sms contract for £8 p/m - always worth trying live chat to see what else is available
Im already on the £5 plan but onlky get 1gb, is there a way of me getting this deal without p**sing around, or should i just stick with what ive got.

regards

Simply go on a chat with them and ask to change plans. They do it there and then. Very easy...

When does it expire? Need Pac code from BT do go to their sibling so I can leave BT Fibre at the 12 month period.
I currently have unlimited calls and text for £5 a month as I have their fibre.
That deal isnt there
Nice - might have to swap from GiffGaff @ £10/m (although I'm currently getting 3GB - I only use around 2GB and for a fiver I could work with 1.5GB!)
Heat added.
Great price, thanks for posting.
I would never go back to plus net! I opened 2 sim only contracts with them, after 6 months I called to close them in September 17, came to October I got another bill I rang up and they said the last person I spoke to hadn’t closed them so she did it for me... November comes ANOTHER BILL! Made an official complaint to close the accounts, one has been closed on my credit file but the other is still open and showing late payment marks since October! They refuse to do anything about it! These deals are not worth ruining your credit rating when it comes to closing your account! Customer services are useless!

You can get pac code immediately over phone.
Got these for parents phones. Great deal and more than they need.
Got 1.5 gb, 750mins and ultd texts 3 days ago for £5. But 1000 mins sounds even better! Definitely, the best value sim out there with a decent amount of data.

Voted HOT!
Currently I pay £10 unlimited minutes and texts with 6gb data with plus net. Customer service seems very good and easy to swap tariff on live chat. It's owned/ uses masts by Ee

Depends on your location.
iD uses the Three network.
Plusnet uses the EE network.

EE is far better for rural coverage, but slightly worse for cities.

Run the coverage checkers then if your still not sure pickup a Three pay as you go sim and see what the coverage is like at your home and places you frequent.

Seems like both are good coverage.

ID seems to have better value for data but has anyone got experience on it
Great deal. Accidentally voted cold, sorry @msmyth
I'm on this plan, got it around middle of last year iirc, no problems at all, good speed, I even forgot to turn my phones wifi back on the other month, and after watching a few youtube vids got a text saying i'd used 80% of my data which was very nice of them.

Would recommend (if the website works properly and doesn't make you attempt to sign up 5 times...)

I was on a similar plan and they offered this to me last week
£6-2048mb data-1500min. and unlimited text

I agree, had this a long while, my only complaint is the voicemail, which has never worked properly!

I know this. But I want to delay as my current deal is better. I would order a PAC code and buy 7 days before the expiry of the offer, enough time for delivery and transfer.
Hiya, do you know if it'll be double data for Broadband customers?
Rich0692 h, 25 m ago

Live right now, and has been for some time.

I don't think it is yet....only £5 package showing now, even for existing customers is, 1GB, 250 minutes, 500 texts - £5.00

Me too, but I'll call and change it if this comes live! Heat from me too....
ps: Customer service has been really good, had an issue with porting number and the call centre resolved it and were really nice!
Does this data roll over if u don't use it?
Not quite as good as the Plusnet £5pm 1.5GB 4G data, 1000 mins and unlimited texts, 30-day rolling deal they were still offering just a month ago but still a good deal.

No, Plusnet don't roll over unused data, minutes, or texts from your previous month's plan allowance.

oh i dunno what to do now! im paying £8.50 for 2g 1000 mins unlimited texts and never go anywhere near allowance.. like EVER... i was gonna go down the " im leaving route to get the £4.50 one on here a little while back ! Soooo confused!! any constructive advice welcome... very light user... mostly on wifi... used it on tethered hotspot for hours the other day when at folks to use laptop and barely took up any mb was super impressed at that!!
My son has a phone that he used to connect to our Wifi at home. However, he wants to use his phone for Pokemon Go when he is outside of the house, and perhaps to play a few games in the car, watch a few Youtube videos, etc, when we are travelling around. Do you think that 1.5 GB would cover this - he would only be using the phone outside of the house for a few hours about 3 days a week? Thank you.

I've just had a look and this deal does not seem to be there - a similar deal is there that cost £5 per month = 1GB, 250 mins, 5000 texts?
