How did you manage that?
Last time I (and many others) tried switching it kept failing and taking the money out my account to sign up.
Have these issues been fixed?
Awful company

Just rang up and quoted the offer Virgin have. Pretty much the same but for £9.

Mine is £1, but on the 1.5gb plan.
Have been with Plusnet for a few months and they’re great
really can’t fault them
Transferred my sons Tesco mobile to PlusNet last week. Great tariff, number ported within two days. Can't fault them so far, very helpful on the phone too.
Have 2 £5 1.5GB/m sims and can't fault plusnet. (Though I'd prefer a single family account with multiple numbers and shared allowance....)

I did however encounter one gotcha; apparently plusnet have something either misconfigured or overly strict re tethering.

Some android phones will refuse to forward tether traffic to a plusnet mobile connection unless you disable (via ADB) tether_dun_required

It affected both my old Huawei Y300 and Lenovo B.

Plusnet CS were not sufficiently knowledgeable to resolve this issue, had to resolve it myself with forums & Google.

Their porting team is pathetic!
My 1st number took 5 working days to port and the 2nd number its already 5 working days now.
The biggest issue is, you cant use the old number for all this while losing all the calls / messages.
No experience with Sims, but had broadband, very good value, reasonable customer service. However, it was £40 to leave, which I thought a bit excessive for a 6-7per month contract ( not Inc line rental.)

Just leaves a bad taste in the mouth, as never had to pay when the contact had finished with anyone else.

Ha I get this but £7 a month with Virgin
Do you get bt sport that you can put on a telly. Read on a deal you could add if you was a planet customer
Done this just before the Christmas period, but quoted I saw it for £7.50 and they honoured it. SIM Arrived today and activated it and was told they applied a £ 2.50 discount to the 10.00 tariff. Happy
Great deal. Heat added. Just ordered two.
I just saw the TV ad £8 for 3GB, I am currently paying a tenner for 3GB data with GiffGaff, might be time to change!
Heat for the heads up.

Decent deal, though.

Very good, considering it is only a 30 day contract, they use EE's network and infrastructure, so you get their high level of signal & data coverage and high 4G speeds. You also benefit from free roaming in 52 countries, good customer service, can set up a smart cap so you never rack up more than a £2 bill. And you don't get charged for tethering.

This is a sim not a phone !
"Very highly recommended."

By whom?

No but you're not locked into a 12 month contract like most other decent sim-only deals. So if after a few months you find something better, you can cancel and swap over and only have to give 1 month's notice.

By me. I got one a few months ago.
Swapped from 3 but somewhat underwhelmed with network coverage as no better than 3.
Can you keep your mobile number
Got this too but for £8 on a retention deal (1 month rolling).
Been on this deal for a year. Have switched all 5 of us over. Plus my sister in law who was on “EE” and has not noticed any difference on plusnet -apart from the price!!

Great that you can set cap limits as well.
