HOT DEAL FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN RURAL AREAS ONLY

I have been looking a while as I can't get the 'best'' promotions etc because of where I live.

Basically the promotion is 12 months 1/2 price broadband

Price for 60gb cap (unlimited after midnight) with free wireless N router
3 months broadband at £5.74
9 months boardband at £9 (this is due to rural location otherwise stays at £5.74 for 12 months)
12 months line rental at £9.49pm (paid in advance)
no setup fee (12 month contract only)

Don't forget cashback - £38.38 from TopCashBack

I was paying over £14 a month for just line rental So thought £14.50 for the pair was worth sharing

There are cheaper deals for the lower cap tarrifs but 10gb goes nowhere now days.

gutted my bt contact is until xmas, I'm rural aswell
This is not a bad deal for people like myself in rural areas which are not usually "low cost" because BT (which owns Plusnet) is the only telephone line provider. However, you do need to note the small print which means the cost after 12 months is on a par with BT's usual offerings. That said, I might take it up because I already have a spare unused line into my house which means I can sign up to this for 12 months, ditch BT on the existing line connection, and then get another deal in 12 months time on the former BT line while then ditching the first Plusnet line. Worth a couple of hundred pounds to me over the two years. For those reasons, it is hot.
Yes, over 12 months I will be saving £220 over BT Option2.
I was thinking on switching back again after 12 months to get BT's new customer deals and a cashback payout.(_;)
Don't BT have crazy 10GB caps on all but their top package?
I had an email today saying line rental and call packages increases from October and there are rumours that the increases, which are slighter higher than BT's and being introduced before BT's (January) could be due to a possible merger of the two operations.
See page below for further info.

New line additional £49.99
call charges don't really bother me, I only have a landline so I can have broadband. All my calls go via my free mobile minutes.
The line rental on this deal is also paid upfront so not affected by price increases.
Anyone know what a 60gb cap equates to please? Am looking to change my O2 BB service to something cheaper, but am on O2 unlimited. Never used a capped service before.

about 10 - 15 standard def movies or approx 500+ mp3 albums

all depends what you use the net for , just surfing or downloading or gaming or maybe a combination of all but even then 60gb cap is a good size unless you have programs constantly downloading all day and night
Don't forget this package allows unlimited upload/downloads between 00:00 and 08:00. so schedule any backups/downloads for night time;)

Thanks. I tend to download quite a few podcasts and radio programmes, listen to internet radio a lot, play a bit on iplayer, and surf webpages and that's it.
sky is 179.40 for a year after 80gbp cash back on quidco. To me that's heaps better than this deal - gets you 25 m&s vouchers too and free wifi hotspot access.
