Prices may rise annually - full details here

Mobile contract providers tend to increase your monthly tariff by inflation - and exactly which measure depends on the network:

Three: a Fixed Annual Price Change, 4.5% this year.
O2: RPI plus 3.9%.
EE, Vodafone: Consumer Price Index plus 3.9%.

The date of the adjustment also varies by provider:

Three: April
O2: Announced in Feb, effective from April
EE: Announced in Jan, effective from March
Vodafone: Announced in Jan, effective from April

What is Sim only?

SIM only is just that, where you only pay for the minutes, texts, and data you use on your sim-card.

You will have to supply your own device i.e phone/tablet to insert the sim-card into, hence why it's called 'sim only'

There have been some cracking plusnet deals around.

    I went for 20gb @ £10 per month + £50 TCB (£5.83)

This is a great price for a low data user.

moved to plusnet last month. 4gb for gbp 6.00 (plenty as working from home and when in work I have wifi anyhow)

Took 3 days for the sim to come, and maybe 48 hours before the old number was ported over.

Not noticed any signal difference over previous BT mobile

I got the same deal about 2 weeks ago, however, it failed to even track on TopCashBack!

Pro tip: sign up to Quidco Premium. £1 for one month. Screenshot this TCB deal. Take the same deal out through Quidco and get £27.50.

Then (within 3 days) use Quidco Premium Highest Cashback Guarantee to claim double the difference. Making a total of £42.50. A year's mobile service for under £30. £2.46 a month.

Minus your £1 for Premium, but you can recoup that with higher rates and better giftcard bonuses on payout.

You can raise a 'Missing cashback' claim and hopefully it will get added

Has anyone on Plusnet noticed slowdowns in busy areas (like shopping centre, busy town centres or stadiums)?

This was an issue when they were on Vodafone so I'm wondering what it's like now they're on EE.

Pretty sure Plusnet have never used Vodafone as they're a BT company & BT also own EE.

One thing to be aware of if your home coverage is patchy is there's no support for WiFi calling with Pusnet. That used to be standard for MVNOs but more & more are now supporting it.

If you are also an existing Plusnet home phone/broadband customer then they up the monthly data allowance from 4gb to 6gb. Good deal, wife has just moved her mobile SIM from EE to this.

Took a Plusnet SIMO deal from here last month for 3 phones and they firstly said those deals never existed, then agreed to upgrade for extra data “next week”, which never happened and when I asked them to upgrade according to the advertised deal they again denied it ever existed. The porting of phone numbers took 4 days for one phone. Not good.

I think my memory is going bad! You're right.

Must've got confused because there may have been something about them moving to a different network. Which they clearly haven't.

Thanks for jogging my dodgy memory.

Wifey put in a porting request when signing up to Plusnet, the SIM arrived on the Weds and the port took place on the Fri, took about an hour between losing the EE service and getting the Plusnet service, all pretty painless.

I'm after something cheap that will work when on holiday. I'm on EE currently and when I'm on holiday the internet never works when away from WiFi i.e when on the beach etc always annoys me.
Plus got a bill of £75 last time for ringing family every other day.

Unless plusnet/ee coverage is better in your area lebara has better deals at this price range without a credit check especially £7.95 for 21gb

Me too but raised a missing cashback claim as I knew I'd done everything required of me. The porting of the number was an awful experience though, took 13 days.
