Standard line rental does not include evening or weekend calls, but you can add these for an additional cost each month when ordering.

Sky is currently offering Unlimited Broadband + line rental, without TV, for £20 x 12 months with an £80 TopCashBack, £75 prepaid Mastercard and a £9.95 setup fee. My maths makes this £240 - £80 - £75 + £9.95 = £94.95 for the year
= £7.91 a month.

I'm currently on BT Infinity 1 but am seriously considering going back to ADSL on this deal, as I don't find BT fibre any faster for general browsing. Torrenting is fast, but surfing is disappointing, Might be my laptop.

Middling customer service but ok for cheap and basic service. I've had a few drops and periods of ultra slow speed but ok for the money. Think It may be a bit cheaper if you pay for the year upfront
Is this same or cheaper than MSE deal expired yesterday?

This is £50.00 cash back
Expired deal £75.00 cash back
38Mb for just over £20 per month on a 18mth contract( after taken off bonuses/cashback), plus it has to be done through moneysavingexpert

Although potentially £30/60 cash back from tcb/quidco which wasn't available through the mse deal. So if it pays out, it would be a better deal.

At least they're being more hones/realistic with the speeds now!

Yes I couldn't go back to copper though. I did make the mistake once but cancelled it within 7 days and went back onto a fibre package which actually came in cheaper on a better deal on here

Ooh, that's brutal...
Is this vodafone deal is better than plusnet by speed & cost wise?

6+ Km from the exchange and 2 Km from the FTTC in a Rural area.
Plusnet suck at paying cashback. If you are prepared for a protracted fight with them then maybe trial em. Speeds weren't great but weren't unusable.Cheeky beggers also charged me a disconnection fee of £30....

Never had trouble getting the cashback myself but between this and the sky one mentioned in the comments I'd go with Sky as I've had better around experiences with them apart from their crappy routers.

I had about the same figures, but real speed is above 10Mbs, normally between 12-16 for me, upload 4 Mbs. Looks they just legally cover themselves for heavy congested areas...

Same for me. I'm with BT now and will change back to Sky soon. Don't need faster than 4-6mbs on avarage but always get about 11mbs with BT and Sky.

Avoid disconnection fee by moving providers

Na ADSL is perfecto for browsing, streaming may suffer dependent on speed and HD/4K. I stream 4K on Sky and top 24MBPS as I’m within a mile of the exchange. Torrents May well be slowed down on ADSL though. I like you had Fibre and when the offer ended so did Fibre, was surplus to my needs.

Your doing well! When I connected to broadband I would regularly get a speed of 0.1mb download and 0.05 upload. There was no problems with the line just to far away . Had to wait 3 months for fibre which is much better at 37mb download and 10mb upload. Couldn't do normal BB even if I wanted to lol
Vodafone customer service was not good with me recently. went back to virgin and the v6 box for tv is good, nice how you can skip breaks etc.
Plusnet's £50 cashback doesn't seem to show when you click through the Quidco £60 cashback link.
The £50 cashback from Plusnet isn't showing any more when you click on the "get deal" link, just the £18.99 broadband.

£60 cashback available through Quidco though.
