As the previous QuidCo offer is expired i thought i'd post this. It's slightly cheaper than the previous QuidCo offer.

Only active for another day, so you'd need to order today.

Unlimited Fibre 12 month contract. No activation and you get a free router.

Paying Line Rental Monthly:

£23.99 a month and zero activation charge.
£70 TBC: (£23.99 x 12 - £70)/12 = £18.15 per month

Paying Advanced Line Rental:

Advanced line rental: £197.88 + £5 per month fibre (£60)
£70 TCB: (£197.88 + £60 - £70)/12 = £15.65 per month

i was on the phone with them the other day and they told me there will be a £1/month across the board price increase within the next month (i believe). I was discussing renewing my contract with them at the time and I was told it will be applied to any new contract i agreed to, so may be worth checking this first if an extra quid in the near future makes any difference to you.
Best deal so far. Even beats the £80 Qudco deal when it was £24.99 (and I missed)!

If you are within 14 days of a order ask to cancel or refund the difference. Plusnet agreed to refund the difference, so I got this price!

Still not as good a £12 deals with BT from 1 year ago. These are unlikely to appear any time soon.

Good price!

"If you sign up between the 4th March 2018 and 4th June 2018 you will not be affected by any price increase to your broadband product". plus.net/hom…ew/

If there is an increase you can leave without penalty can you not? Go back to BT or the next deal as long as TCB has been paid.

some providers offer contracts with guaranteed no price rises throughout the contract, i suppose its for there benefit so there is no get out clause if they did increase while in contract.
I was going to cancel mine so live chatted said i was looking at the Vodafone ultra fiber for £26 come back to me and they price matched so now got ultra fiber 76 MB for the same price plus the £1 increase but not bothered by that 😄😄
I got it when it was £75 TCB and £25 a month, got cashback twice which helped!

I did the same and they said they'd price match Vodafone but it would rise in June. I told them that Vodafone would still be cheaper and they said they'd match it with no price rise. Did the same for my mum and dad on Sunday.
Appreciate that different people get different offers, but the best they offered me as an existing customer of 2 years (therefore no cashback) was £28pm for 76mb - plus the £1 increase next month, so most of the contract would be at £29pm

They wouldn't match Vodafones offer of £26pm, plus Vodafone comes with a £50 Amazon reward card.

I would probably have stayed if they had matched the £26pm (for the full contract) and foregone the £50 Amazon card from Vodafone, simply for the convenience.

Majestic7 seems to be suggesting that - Sky effective £10pm for fibre - unlimited - possible.

I second the request for further info please.

That's peculiar, as they put up very little fight with me, and when I rang for my parents, they put up no fight whatsoever.
As an existing customer I cannot really fault Plusnet. I use a BT Hub 5 (not 6 which restricts WiFi bands) rather then the one they sent me 2/3 years ago. Although they are owned by BT they have given me a better service. They emailed me to say that my unlimited broadband was going up a £1 but that they were doing away with the £1 charge for caller display so overall no increase. I am also going to get a theoretical higher speed from my current 52Mb download / 10Mb upload speeds. However they then said that they did not wish to lose me so offered a £2 a month discount on my broadband if I stayed for another £18 months. With the monthly discount I also receive for referring a friend it is just not worth my bother changing. I just hope that they don't get absorbed into BT.

So,would I be able to use the by router with any other broadband or just bt? Thanks in advance.
Any good I have just got Vodafone and internet drops once every hour for about 20 seconds no good for online gaming didn't have this problem with BT
plusnet are scum when it comes to paying cashback. They will attempt to wriggle out of it (from my experience)!

Same here. They matched a really good Vodafone deal for me and even offered £50 cashback which they paid by cheque without me asking. I'd try again.
Thank you Spritey, I was with them till last year and regretted leaving. This offer will bring me back into the fold.

Hmm, maybe it's the router/modem they provided, they are often have issues and poor performance. Do you have one of the old Openreach modems around? These are often better than the all in ones ISP provide nowadays. You'd need a separate router to work with it if you do.

Other wise you could try a different modem/router like this one: amazon.co.uk/Bil…22K33735965-WnCSx.jpg

I'm switching from BT to this deal. BT advised to set the takeover date to the day after the contract ends. I did this on the Plusnet website as part of the order process last night and have had confirmation of the date from both companies today via text and email

There were dates well into June available to select. I'd try that first as you may jeopardise cash back by getting someone at Plusnet to manually update the order.

Thanks

I have just ordered.
The latest date was June 8th which I selected.
My contract terminates 12/13th June.
Reading the T&C of the Topcashback conditions, the clause stating no contacting customer services seems to be missing but present for e.g. SKY broadband.
Do you think I should just accept switching 4 days early or will BT be funny about this and lay down extra charges.
p.s. I have paid line rental saver for BT up to 13 June
Thanks again

In that case it's probably best to check what BT say first. Technically they may able to levy early termination fees, possibly charging for any router, TV equipment etc.
I would read through the Ts&Cs myself but have had enough scouring small print for my switch over the last couple of days!
Broadband goes up by a £1 a month .
But now Caller Display is free of charge from the 5th June 2018 ( was 99p a month )

Thanks

You were right, I got an email from BT saying I will be liable for charges because I am switching 4 days early!

However I used the Plusnet Chat and after waiting for nearly 90 minutes, they changed the switching date to the day after my contract expires so there should not be a problem with BT charges and I do not believe I have contravened any TCB terms and conditions.
The cashback has already tracked so all good so far!

Hopefully all OK then. I was being a bit cautious as I read similar issues on here when I joined BT, if the order was adjusted manually then some people's cashback didn't track. As you say, nothing in the TCB terms and as long as Plusnet haven't changed the order number it should be attributed to TCB - Looks like the £23.99 / month was a TCB exclusive so that's another good piece of evidence that you came from TCB!
Fingers crossed the speeds with Plusnet are OK, I was getting 51Mb with BT infinity 1 so can't see why I wouldn't get close to the max of 40 with Plusnet
Signed up for this via TCB went through everything then was hit with the £49.99 line installation charge. Couldn’t even get them to drop it over the phone when I said i would have to go elsewhere then. Back to the drawing board it is.
