Just seen they're a US company, not sure any great electronics are made there. Maybe worth paying a couple extra quid for a Samsung or something else from East of Mumbai, especially if you value your data. Trump hasn't made America great yet, unfortunately 😏

£12.99 on Amazon, 4/5 rating from 18 reviews, I'm still unsure about PNY though

That's the price of Base itself. At this price the A10 card and 100MB/s in my opinion is very good , howenceever everyone has their own experience.

Any good for a Nintendo switch?
How about for a Mavic mini?

Get at least a u3 card for that buddy.

And preferably of the high endurance variant too mind?.

Alternatively, stick with Samsung Evo's to achieve pretty much the same thing also, but on the cheap instead ... lol.
Always used Sandisk, but the last one I got (2 64gb ones from Halfords via here) both have been problematic in my mobiles, often being "lost" by the phones when taking pictures, which then defaults to the phone memory.
Ordered this one, four times the room for twice the price of a 32gb Sandisk, we`ll see how it fares over time.
Thanks OP

Do NOT use this in a dashcam as the description suggests.
SamCramphorn09/01/2020 08:10

Why?

Dashcams need special cards rated for constant usage - this cheapo card will crash and corrupt.

Oh really? Thanks for the tip, I didn't know that!
PNY are unreliable in my experience.
Pny are a good make, I've had usb memory sticks from pny in the past and have never failed me. Mind you that was years ago as for micro sd cards I'm not sure. Was thinking of getting this for my s8 plus.

PNY is a good brand that works well with Dashcams, however, as it constantly has to record/write/rewrite, High Endurance cards are recommended that has longer life. And, of course it's costly.

One of the top cards you can get for a dashcam is the Samsung Endurance line. SanDisk (who have traditionally had a bad reputation for dashcams) have recently released their own endurance card, but time will tell on whether they're actually any good or not.

I'd rather not overheat my Blackvue, but for a cheapo dashcam you don't care about, sure it'll work fine for a short time.

could this explain why clips on my dash camera footage have gaps / few seconds of footage missing between each clip?
The PNY comes sometimes come with a shorter warranty at 10 years compared to the SanDisk’s lifetime warranty. There are also some reports that the PNY comes with some failures on its products. However, it can also depend on how you use the product. Therefore.

I'd say that's more due to your specific dashcam, but potentially could be the card yes.

PNY are unreliable in my experience.

Most people who have that opinion usually have used the card in a piece of hardware that requires a higher spec write speed, eg dash cams and video recording in general. For most uses they are very reliable.

I had a memory stick, personally. It just stopped working.
I took it back to PC World and got a replacement. A few months later it also stopped working.

I had backups of my data, but if I didnt I could've been in trouble!
Gangsters. I placed an order for 2 last night. Got an email this morning saying my payment had been declined. Card details all correct. Added a new card and paid again. Order accepted again. Checked my order just now and it has been cancelled. Now out of stock
