Hi edited the £172.94 NBP (next best price) as the same item appears to be available from Ballicom currently for £152.93, still a great saving from Amazon

I made my own 2tb usb drive with 2tb nvme ssd. This is much bigger, not any faster. And drive inside cannot be used.

Yes this would work with a 1tb nvme drive, but a smaller size comes at the cost of less protection.
And you'd end up paying more to put a 1tb nvme drive into a USB enclosure than you would when buying this.
