Paid 299 in April . Running in NZXT H200 with watercooled CPU, still couldn't hear GPU fan on 99% load, case fan is still loudest in setup
Is it worth upgrading a 1060 to this for VR use? (befire anyone comments about cheaper cards... Needs to be mini..)

here some syntetic test hothardware.com/rev…e=2
VR Future benchmark 38.92ftps from 2060 vs 22.63 ftps from 1060
VR Blue room test 51.64ftps from 2060 vs 27.12 ftps from 1060
It seems a 50% increase, but I don´t know if it justifies upgrading for just 1gen or waiting for next gen

Pedant head can't help it I'm afraid... that's nearer a 100% increase.
It would be a 50% decrease to reach the lower score
But thanks for the link, I think I may be shelling out... !
I don't think these have virtuallink. I think only a few premium 2060s have it but can't remember if that's true, so might wanna look into it first if you need the port.

Virtual link simplifies connections but it’s not a requirement, you can always use hdmi+usb

My only issue is if we crash out of EU with no deal... Will the warranty still be valid?

True, just pointing it out for anyone who might not be aware.
Does this need an aux power connection?

It'll definitely need either 6 or 8 pin as all gtx1060+ and rtx2060+ do. Most likely 8 pin.
Really is a horrendous looking card, heat for the price though
