    How well are Xiaomi phones supported with updates?
    I've never owned one but specs for cost always looks great.

    When I had the 11T pro it wasn't bad, usually a month or so behind in updates, and updates were every 2-3 months.

    This was £399 on Prime day, however factor in £45 extra for the watch that's 'free' here and it's not a bad price. Xiaomi tend to do quarterly updates of their phones and typically they're supported for 3yrs from launch so you've got about 2.5yrs remaining on it.

    Performance is great, 120W charging gets from flat to full in under half hour and it generally feels fairly premium in the hand. Battery life isn't amazing (not bad, just not as good as lower powered phones but who cares when it can be recharged so quickly!?) and it can get warm when under load.

    Great deal for what you're getting, shame about the average camera though. I know it's not bad, but flagship everything else makes it feel unbalanced.
    Primarily aimed at gamers, so understandable from that point of view.

    I swear every Xiaomi mid range phone is 6.67inches. Other than the Mi 12 is there any really good decent mid range phone that is smaller? Say 6.29 inches??

    Be careful about buying a Poco the sound keeps going off on the X3 I bought shortly after doing a software update very poor software support

    What do you mean? I've had the Poco X3 NFC and Poco F4 GT and still have the Poco F3 and they've all been excellent with no ads and not many bugs. (Typing from my ever reliable Poco F3) (edited)

    I have Poco F4 GT bought for £399 6 months ago from Amazon on 0% installments. No problems so far . It is not very loud but works ok. Had it for 6 mobths now . (edited)

    My poco f1 still going strong but my mi11T is playing up..i should of sent it for repair last yr but covid and now its out of warranty.

    Everyone's just always on about cameras i want power and speed to surf browse

    But the main thing i wana do is what i used to do with poco f1 b4 5g messed all signals.

    Hotspot/ thether the sim data for xbox and watching tv

    Any recomandtions

    Poco F3 or 4 the SD870 HD the best sustained performance underload and the best best battery life under load.
    The camera will get the job done nicely if you take the time to use what is available, rather than rely on preset point and shoot..

    In retrospect I may have been a tad unfair the Poco P3 is a very good user friendly phone for the money
    Sounds working again now hopefully problem has fixed itself
