Wait, let me get this right.
The Nintendo calendar event is meant to be a Xmas discount event?

so they sell an item for rrp, knowing it's rrp and say "Merry Christmas, our gift to you is stock?"

Wow, that's a new low.

Yes, no discount but the cheapest you will find at the moment.

Heat from me. These go for £60-70 on eBay so anything to beat the scalpers is good from my point of view.

Amazon.fr have them now for approx £40 if you desperately want one. Delivered within a day or so.

Cold. Standard RRP.

nice find OP

People on this site just don't get supply and demand. Just because it's sold at RRP, if you can't currently get it at the RRP, then it's still a deal.

An extreme example of this would be when Banksy sold paintings in Central Park for $60, therefore setting the RRP at $60. However once they had sold and you couldn't get one, they're now worth +$100k.
Example

Just because something is at RRP doesn't make it COLD. Thanks OP I was looking for one of these for my son, and as previously stated the going rate is £60 plus, so for me the is HOT to the tune of £25

Thank you, one more present sorted!

My issue isn't that it's rrp.

My issue is that Nintendo used a day on theirbig ole' Christmas event to advertise an item back in stock. Such a cheap way of giving fans a deal during their 24 days of Xmas.

I'm glad my views on Nintendo weren't that great after the Wii U.

Still no sign of dispatch on the NES Classic Controller from their calendar offer the other day

I have to agree. In previous years there have been some good games and other items at some heavily discounted prices. It seems a bit off to post 'hard to get' items as an advent 'deal'. It simply suggests they are keeping these back to create 'exclusivity' and you have to wonder how many they have, and whether it will be another advent 'deal' later in the month.

A word of warning I ordered a pokemon go plus on black friday when these claimed to be in stock and it is still awaiting stock pick. I highly doubt there is any stock at all.

I ordered one on Black Friday around midday and it arrived last week. There was a thread posted on here about that dea which got some heat.
I already sold mine to CEX for £60 cash. £25 profit.

Totally agree and can almost guarantee the temperature would be a different colour if the title had 'NES Mini' in it somewhere.

Anybody know what time they open the advent windows in the morning?.

It varies but usually seems to be late morning, I've not noticed a specific time.

Got my order in, but now it's just 'awaiting stock pick'.

I remember why I dislike using Zavvigroup websites now...

Cex must have caught on that stock has started to trickle through. They only offering £50 cash now for it. Was £60 last week. They still selling for £75 tho
