You can meet and recruit Pokémon in a dungeon-crawling adventure within their world! Build a rescue team to take on mysterious, changing dungeons and strategically plan your moves as you venture forth to make the Pokémon world a safer place…and uncover your true purpose along the way.

As you recruit Pokémon, these trusty teammates will need somewhere to stay, so build camps to house, manage, and strengthen your Pokémon friends. Think hard about who is right for the job and how to approach each mysterious dungeon as you prepare a rescue team. You’ll move a single square at a time or use Auto mode to speed up movement until you engage other Pokémon in turn-based battles—but don’t forget about Pokémon strengths and weaknesses! This version adds gorgeous watercolor-inspired graphics, and more! Get comfortable in being a Pokémon, there’s a lot of work to do.

  • Wake up in the world of Pokémon and uncover your true purpose
  • Dungeon layouts will change each time you enter them, so you’ll likely not have the same adventure twice
  • Build a rescue team to explore dungeons and engage in strategic turn-based combat
  • Pokémon are available to meet and recruit
  • This version adds gorgeous watercolor-inspired graphics, and more!

Reviews aren't amazing for this so will probably wait till it's around £30 anyway

Price matching Currys, if anyone is curious.
I’d look at reviews before buying this!

Yep it's an old fashioned repetative slog.

Mystery dungeon has not been totally redeveloped from the looks lol...Maybe they recompiled it.

Nailed it.
Great price, not sure why it’s not hotter! Thanks op
Completely torn on this.

Enjoyed the demo, but was not sold due to it being just a re-skin despite it's obvious charm. Certainly not a full price purchase.
Also have far too many great games that I need to actually play.
Despite it being a great price with the voucher, I should probably pass on it

Well you aren't wrong. I think they put in enough effort for it to be worth more than £8, but I think it's fair that it shouldn't be sat up in the AAA price bracket. Seems they like to drip feed their main IPs for as much money as possible

They should learn from the price point of Rune Factory 4 Special really. At that price they would have had far more sales and likely more forgiving/favourable reviews.

Whether we like it or not we do and critics do bear judgement for the price it costs.

FF7R mind you is totally worth it's price.
Have you played the demo? It's mind blowing!

Far more sales ? It charted at number one in the U.K. charts and sits at number 5 in the eshop chart it’s sold good for a low effort port the profit must be high on this

That's kind of the point, if it was cheaper, it would sell even more. There's a reason indie games go on sale for cheap.

RF4 - excellent comparison choice.

My FFVII was slight hyperbole (if that's how you use it in a sentence).

I've been meaning to download the demo - really want to see how they are reimagining it!
I'm not sure why FF7 is being brought into the argument. It is a remake in every sense. This game is probably little more than a remaster. The visuals have been completely made over, but the "story" is probably exactly the same as the ds version

Having said that, I never played that and quite enjoyed the demo for this so I've bitten the bullet. Was about to spend more on a digital copy!
My daughter, aged 11, never played the original and has asked me to buy this for her with the voucher.
cool code worked, thanks op.
great price, but this really is just a case of a good old spit and polish. Will hold out a bit, especially with animal crossing arriving very soon...
