You can meet and recruit Pokémon in a dungeon-crawling adventure within their world! Build a rescue team to take on mysterious, changing dungeons and strategically plan your moves as you venture forth to make the Pokémon world a safer place…and uncover your true purpose along the way.

As you recruit Pokémon, these trusty teammates will need somewhere to stay, so build camps to house, manage, and strengthen your Pokémon friends. Think hard about who is right for the job and how to approach each mysterious dungeon as you prepare a rescue team. You’ll move a single square at a time or use Auto mode to speed up movement until you engage other Pokémon in turn-based battles—but don’t forget about Pokémon strengths and weaknesses! This version adds gorgeous watercolor-inspired graphics, and more! Get comfortable in being a Pokémon, there’s a lot of work to do.

  • Wake up in the world of Pokémon and uncover your true purpose
  • Dungeon layouts will change each time you enter them, so you’ll likely not have the same adventure twice
  • Build a rescue team to explore dungeons and engage in strategic turn-based combat
  • Pokémon are available to meet and recruit
  • This version adds gorgeous watercolor-inspired graphics, and more!

Cannot say no to that tbh. If this was a PS4 or XO game, people were throwing stone at Sony or MS for their pricing, but it is not.

Worst part is their games keep their value (if not gain anything). The old pokemon pikachu etc used to go for around £32-£33 last year around this time and now are over £40. Don't know how they'd do it tbh... I skipped Switch this generation...

I don’t know what Nintendo you’re remembering but the they’ve always been super expensive.

Yes but at least they used to give you discounts , like if you had purchased a digital wii game you could get it on wiiu for a fair bit cheaper.

Are there any switch games that aren’t a remake?
How do you catch Pokémon on this? If I'm remembering correctly, you used to have to circle them a number of times with the stylus on the DS.

The one where you draw circles was called Pokémon Ranger. In this you just kinda befriend the Pokémon after you beat them as you go round the dungeons.

Ah that's the one, quite enjoyed Pokémon Ranger.

I'm sure I've played mystery dungeon, I just can't remember it.

I bought the original Pokemon day one. Now you just assumed about me, what does that make you?

It makes me think some people on the internet are wrong. You also got wrong that the expansion pass was the third edition, which it is not. Did you even watch the direct bruh? Or just like making things up trying to look knowledgeable?

The problem with it is that with it being announced so soon, it was clearly being worked on in parallel to sword & shields main game development. Thus promoting the idea that rather then it being the 'third' game, it's just something that should have been in the game in the first place.

It reeks of gamefreak now becoming a complete cash grab of a company, after the backlash of dexit, how they can even think this is a good idea is beyond me.
It also explains why they pressed on regardless of dexit backlash because they had this plan and they were sticking with it.

It's sad to see gamefreak shooting themselves in the foot so much. I love Pokémon and I defended them for dexit but not the lies that came due to it, now this? It's becoming harder and harder to stick up for them.

Now imagine if they announced this in June? And done a quick drop of the dlc, that would be far more accepted then as you could then believe they worked on it after sword and shield.

I remember completing this on DS and I played the demo for an hour today. This game should not be £40. Luckily PMD do get price drops as opposed to core mainline Pokemon games.
ohh tempted with this
