- The Pokemon TCG Scarlet & Violet series debuts 31st March 2023 so this is a pre-order
- Elite trainer boxes with 9 packs is £39.95 each for either Scarlet or Violet versions

    How much is a booster box usually? Isn't it like £115? I see a few websites have it as "previously £150" but most bb's I see are around the £115-£120 mark

    Depends on the popularity of the set, but they can vary from £105 to £120 at various times. Prices will be increasing though, the reason you don't see it yet is because pokemon limit how much distributors charge retailers on the 1st wave as they want people to get product in their hand, retailers then pass this on to customers. After that you can charge market rates and I assume prices will increase on average, however there will be sales done by different retailers depending on their own financial situations and popularity of sets. Also base sets don't do that well so I imagine price reductions may come at some point to shift stock of this particular set.

    To make up for the price increase there will no longer be non holo rares in packs, and ETBs now come with 9 packs instead of 8.

    Really good deal tbh, ordered 4 elsewhere at £109.99 and debating whether it's worth the hassle of cancelling. Didn't expect to see them go this low given the announcement of the retail price increase for booster boxes going forward.

    Haven't collected for many years. Starting with the S&V base set as I love the games. Pre-ordered a booster box and an ETB, hopefully that'll get me a decent way through the set.

    Financially you're best with 2 BB's but this ETB Promos are dope. I'm gonna resist and buy the singles of them so I can get more packs for my buck.
