Welcome to HUKD and thanks for the deal post. I have added the retailer name to the title.

Wow! been looking for a while, think I'm gonna take the plunge on this and see what it's like. Thanks for the post heat added

What the........

"When you press this button, you use less electricity"

No s**t Sherlock.

As for the TV, 1000:1 contrast ratio is bare minimum for a screen this size, but for the price it's a good deal.

This seems like a reasonable deal, my only concern is the brand. I do hope Polaroid have improved their screens these days. My friend has a 26" polaroid which is about 18 months old and well it's terrible, very poor colours, and the viewing angle isn't that great either, his 26" Acoustic Solutions LCD TV is a lot better.

Agree 100%.......unless they have significantly upped their game Polaroid best avoided in my opinion. I think you may be getting what you pay for here.

Looks nice but I want dvd also.

And?

techradar.com/pro…g=2 review says it dosent handle motion too well, was gonna buy as a present, but have decided to wait as there seems to be loads of lcd deals of late

thought this was worth a punt until i read the review provided by daviedeal i will now be avoiding, even at £340 if the picture is rubbish there's little point wasting the cash on it
plasma/lcd have been dropping rapidly coming up to xmas and nobody buying these big items due to credit crunch
just have to wait for the right one for santas wii , at least 32"

worth posting though and getting others views well spotted

amazon reviews by users are good. Who to believe? Or maybe the set has improved since the review? The amazon reviews seem more recent.

O.K. now read the second review and I will not purchase.

whathifi.com/Rev…cs/ here was another review I read although it was nearly double the price when reviewed, still think it would be a good deal for a second tv. but wouldnt want to use it as a main one

The smaller Polaroids are good for the bedroom, I have the 22". The built in freeview picture is not great, but it was the cheapest going and overall I'm happy with it. Connected to PS3 via HDMI, it did look pretty good for the price.
