Who cares abput the quality ? 55 inch for under 300 quid !!!

I had no idea they had Polaroid made tvs

Any reviews ?

lol, I remember last black friday and even better deal in asda. I have not bought this, but a Tescos Blaupunkt. Next day I paid a visit in Asda and there was a line with people who wanted to return them. There was like 15 tvs layin one on another without a tv boxes.

Really risky purchase imo

polaroid went bust years ago, u can look it up if u need. there owner went to jail for Ponzi schemes and all sorts of other stuff.

its just a brand licensor that sells there name to any cheap Chinese company dumb enough to pay them for it now, should be avoided at all costs.

Vestel made, but not a bad price

Used to have a Polaroid TV. Would not buy again.

It worked OK, but temporarily lost the remote and non of the reasonably priced universal remotes would work with it. Was not supported by wither Sky or Tivo remotes.

Also was a bit funny about screen resolution when connecting some sources. It was 720p and would give that resolution with some sources. Connected things which displayed at 720p on other TVs, and they would only display at 480 or (if I remember correctly 720i).

Now have a Digihome, also a cheap brand but miles better quality.

What's so dumb about that? Paying to use a beans name on your product will do wonders especially if it's a common household brand regardless of what the brands current status is.

Great value. You could buy 2/3 of these for the price of a 'brand' and they won't be 2/3 times better. Cheap way to a decent big screen.

The brand would have a better picture surely that's the main thing with a big TV ??

Have had a Poleroid 50 inch for over two years bought at Asda. Poleroid is fine and would have no prob buying another one.

The badge has nothing to do with the previous brand! It was bought in an auction when Polaroid went bust!

Just like when JVC, Warfedale and Sharp did the same...

I think most people would have the common sense to realise they won't be getting a 55" OLED TV for under £300. Aren't you looking at around £4,000 for one of those?

I would rather spend a little extra for a better brand and better quality.

Not worth it unless u fight 10 people for it on Black Friday

i would never buy any tv other than sony or samsung the rest of them tender the tv build out to the cheapest company that can build them alot are made in turky cheap parts cheap tat.

Erm, sorry to say this, but Sony's sets are made by Foxconn.

Only Samsung and LG still make "ALL" of their own sets in their own factories. Some of Panasonics cheaper sets are Vestel, but their own sets that are manufactured in their factories are still very good.

Please anyone considering this, just don't buy Polariod. Very cheap components that have a higher probability of blowing after a while.

I've got a Polaroid TV also it's really cool

Good price but arnt these just reduced because they are kak and no one will buy them. 1/2 the price of a decent brand but i bet its had so much cut out of it your eyes will melt lol.

I can just imagine little bits not working properly.

how long is the warrant y , can it be extended

Just got the 55 inch Polaroid tv from asda cribs in Bristol for £249

Had one of these tv a week now.
The sound is a bit tinny and the picture is reasonable on standard definition channels
But improves a lot when used on HD channels .The tv is made by vestal for asda, for the price not a bad tv

how do I connect my amazon firestick to polaroid 55inch smart tv not enough room plug in with the plug connector wire attatched to firestick
