I know there are cheaper ones out there but this feels and looks real nice quality. Not sure if its exclusive to Asda but there is no mention on the packet, it just says Polaroid.
Was priced as £10 but went through as £8.
They had a cheap looking 2m one next to it in the rack for £7.
Was Leamington Spa, not sure what its doing elsewhere.

Ah well.
I guess if i'd of put "Joe Bloggs cheap tat cable £2 i'd of got plenty of heat". No sleep lost.

reason is that all cables are the same been tested by many different places and they all say the same so, quid ones from poundland are just as good as the more expensive so one thing that doesnt have to do with tat

i love the feel of a hdmi cable........but cold this time

I dunno about that, in my experience with cables like anything else you get what you pay for. Fair enough they do a job but its down to how long they last before they start falling apart. Maybe is a psychological thing but I prefer spending a bit more. Phone cables power chargers or audio cables are another.

Well you know what I mean, its not a piece of moulded rubber, youve got gold plated connectors, metal covers and a robustly built almost rope like cable.

No rep gained with comments like that either... COLD for the pathetic attitude and COLD for the pathetic deal... £8 for a cable that can be replaced for £3...? No sleep lost... Happy for you.... Pointless listing.

Chill out, was said extremely light hearted, just pointing out that if people are not into my deal then that is their own choice, personally I think its a good deal but clearly others dont.

I'll keep posting deals when I feel worthy thank you very much.

It appears to be v1.4 not that it mentions it anywhere
HDMI 1.4 introduces two features called ARC (Audio Return Channel) and HEC (HDMI Ethernet Channel).
These features use two pins from the connector: a previously unused pin and the hot plug detect pin

Its a digital cable folks.

It either works or it doesn't.

Nothing like buying a good quality analogue interconnect.

So cold, i don't care how it feels!

No worries, I hope the 3 hots are happy with the purchase

Saw this this evening an didn't realise it was 3m it's what I'm looking for but gonna hold out for another amazon deal (ordered a 3m for 2.50 before Xmas but it got cancelled) and I need one to hook the laptop up to the telly in the living room!

I would have got this if it was a bit cheaper by I still think its a decent price considering if I walked into currys they would charge a lot more for a metre cable!

i got 2 on ebay for 1.79 delivered and they were the 1.4 version so dont see the point in paying over the odds for what is technically an unbranded cable - since the poloroid we used to know for cameras doesnt really exist anymore
