Polo fruits!! I thought they were discontinued but found these today in Home Bargains. Different packaging from the older days but still tastes delicious! Around 20p per tube is very reasonable.

Plus they'll all be stuck together so you're essentially getting four sweets.

Heat for the nostalgia!
Nice one!

Haha yes i remember that they were always stuck together and ye had to snap em to get them apart so you ended up with dual flavours!

Ahh the 70's they were the best times!
Space 1999 , Grange hill at 5pm just after school then the Clangers and John Cravens Newsround, Carry on movies.
The Askit man in his yellow van selling bread and sundrys at lunch and the Icy van and his tunes ringing out alerting the whole neighbourhood to his arrival and all the kids scampering into the street or ditching the kick the can or ring bang skoosh just to get an ice cream 99 and nougat wafers in the hot afternoons boohoo
Halcyon days!

I always wondered what sort of rules/regulations a sweetie factory would impose. I had a colleague several years ago who worked in a chocolate factory where they made walnut whips and he told me that ALL the value was in the walnuts and they were kept in a secure locked "vault" so people couldn't steal/eat them. I think he was deadly serious?

It's a good job I didn't work where you did as they'd be bankrupt by now. Choccie is my kryptonite...
Heat given OP. I loved these as a young'un. I could've sworn I'd seen these in Poundland (maybe not?) so 79p is a good price.
The only thing that was locked up were the cherries that were soaked in brandy before being dipped in chocolate .

£3.49 isn't the RRP but the next best price , which is Amazon.

When the RRP is £1.39 the "next best price" probably shouldn't be £3.49 lol

Shouldn't. But when there is a demand and people are still willing to pay, that's how business makes money

The 'next best price' i was referring to is this37518091-DiSIA.jpg

Is that why they stopped them as you didnt get fed up. They probably thought your dead and started selling them again .

Citrus sharp were the shiz. They did the mini versions that came in the polo shaped container too. </3
Also available in Poundstretcher for ( I think ) 89p if no Home Bargains local to where you are.
Used to like those Polo Citrus. Also these:
