Don’t know about this model, but had a polygon back in 2010. It was a decent bike, I loved it. Never had issues, and I even done a ~1000km trip with.

Just received mine but for £20 extra from Go Outdoors. Good value even when paying the £20 extra so this is an extra bargain and i might buy another. The sizing might be a bit on the small side. I ordered a large and it's more like a medium (reach wise) with a long seat post stem. (edited)

Can anyone recommend this bike? Looking to upgrade my 9 year olds and halfords have said he would be in an xs adults bike - would the small be sufficient? X

It's great value and would be ideal for a kid/teen.
S would probably be too big for him though - Polygon suggest 152.5cm min height.

Fork: SUNTOUR XCE, 100MM 27.5" TRAVEL

    A 100mm fork with 27.5" travel? Impressive!

Drivetrain has poor chain retention but overall seems very good for the money.

This one or Polygon Premier 5? This one has only sizes S,M left. No L size.

I have both, The extra for the Premier 5 is a good deal also. Much more aggressive looking frame, Chunky tyres, better components, better brakes, bars are MUCH wider for people who look for that sort of thing. Everything just looks more polished and more attention to detail right down to the graphics on the seat (edited)
