Thanks for posting, but I would not go to Pontins even if they paid me !

Sorry, but Pontins would have to pay me (and it'd be far more than £33.07!) to ever stay at a Pontins site.
Cold.

You ever been to Brean? Absolutely f-all to do.

How many nights?

I had many a good holiday at Brean Sands when i was a kid. At Pontins too. Gotta be worth £33 surely. Heat added

7 nights

There are some idiots on here. If you are a family with not much money then this would be a good option. I listen to people on here giving it the snobbish attitude and think its a cheap deals website, if you dont like it then f off. Heat added mate as I'm sure it will help someone

Hot - been to Brean Sands a few times with family and really enjoyed it. As rightly said, what do you want for £33 ???

Thanks OP - have a great time

is that price per night??

Same here, I Presume that was probably about 30 years ago ?
I visited a Pontins a couple of years back and it was still in the 70's, the best thing that could visit any of their parks is a bulldozer.

OP - If you have booked this for your family, I recommend getting a refund and going somewhere else, they will thank you for it

That is amazingly cheap. I might send my wife, kids & mother in law for the week....

lol. Yes it will have been about 30 years ago.

Personally i am tempted. Just use the place as a base and get out and about during the day. Depends on what you want to do i guess. I could happily go there and go walking every day.

I went to Pontins at Brean for Christmas and it was fine. In May you would probably have decent weather for the beach and you have a convenient base to go to Cheddar, Wells etc. Brean is probably the best of the sites at the moment so will probably be one of the last to be refurbished by the new owners.

Guantanamo bay is fully booked, so this will have to do....
Seriously though, this is a fantastic deal for a family on a budget.

We went to this pontins last year and I have to say, it was VERY BAD.
I have been on many Sun holidays and have always made do..... as long as the kids were happy then I was. BUT honestly, we only stayed 1 out of 4 nights and that was too long

they are doing a refurbished in febuary this year i have been told

Trevor Hemmings ran the brand into the ground, a little like hes dong with PNE right now. The present owners are working hard to turn it around. Its going to take years TBH but if you want a base to just put your head down then you cant go too far wrong. Its not for the brand snobs but hey let them pay extra.

Its cheaper than going camping. Even if you only stayed for a few nights it has to be worth a punt.

these idiots were on watchdog! really bad company!

DON'T DO IT! Went last year and it is an absolute disgusting s*** hole from hell!! You may as well burn your money. I can't see why anyone one would subject themselves to such conditions. Spend 3 nights in a cardboard box on the streets, conditions would be better and the entertainment just as good!!

Great price, cheaper than running a house for the week!

Let's face it use it as base you spend you days out anyway you don't have to mix if you don't won't to just sleep there have good break op

Unfortunately with who the new owners are, I would not hold out too much hope on refurbishment.

Fantastic Value and I am considering did find this amusing explaining what classic accom is and wonder what the linen is like in poular

Classic Accommodation

"Our Classic Accommodation includes fresh bed linen for added convenience. There are also a limited number of Classic Apartments with 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 8 people. Generally a Classic Apartment is closer to the central amenities meaning more convenient access to all the facilities on your Holiday Park."

we did pontins about 2 years ago for a bargain price like this. it then cost us a fortune in electric tokens in the room . the room was really shoddy but hay my kids had a ball and i could not afford to take them any where else at the time so it was nice to get out of our 4 walls for a change. heat added from me.

Thanks OP - bargain considering it is mostly in half term week (for me anyway). I am going to give it a whirl as a cheap base / somewhere to kip whilst exploring the surroundings. Close to Bath, Taunton and Exmoor National Park (Lynmouth & Lynton, Watersmeet, Valley of the Rocks etc), Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and much more. My wife used to stay at Butlins as a nipper and fancied a dose of nostalgia.... may also teach the kids to appreciate our other holiday destinations. Surprised at the negative comments - it is what it is and for thirty'ish quid, you take your choice. It's deals like this that make HUKD what it is, and I like it.... easy to be snobbish, but what's the point?

Its not about being snobbish, some of the rooms are terrible , mould, blood on sheets etc, plenty of photos to back it up.

If you get a newly refurbished room they great but i bet you don't at those prices

i went to pakefield pontins for new year and to be honest had a fantastic time the room was nice and clean we stayed full board and couldnt fault all of the food, that was my second time to this place and can honestly say i am going back the entertainment was brilliant, at the end of the day what do you expect for that sort of money, it gets heat added from me,

What’s the escape committee like, are there any pre-built tunnels Heat added

Its all down to individual experiences, my parents went to Pontins twice a year for 2 years and once last year(and I went once on my own) and we never had any issues, clean sheets low electric costs( I spent £1 over 4 nights! but I never had heating or water on) and newish carpet.

I think twice we had sticky carpets but the place was spotless.

Pakefield pontins is a good clean site under refurbishment, but brean and even worse camber sands are the pits, have got some great photos somewhere of our chalet, what a state! Research it on google or something we did and thought it can't be that bad,but it was much worse! DISGUSTING.

Really people. If anyone can find 7 nights at the same place for cheaper then vote cold and post the deal. If not, vote hot. Simples.

Who cares if it's a ****hole, the reality is....it's a good deal.

Ps. Don't bother replying, i'm off to Barbados tomorrow

We used to go to Pontins Hemsby before they closed it down been about 7 or so times so know what Pontins is about , never had a bad night there but we always made sure we had the same room

Trouble is the reviews cant hide the fact there are some truly awful rooms available, mould on the windows is a health hazard for a start

I haven't voted BTW

unbelievable deal and tempted as i luckily get a very cheap half term break and will be able to afford abroad for two weeks in summer instead of a week.
just daren't bloody risk it.
