Shame no MW/LW. Otherwise probably okay for the price.

I'd like to know this as well - it says 'Runs on 20V / 4x AA batteries(not included)' - does that mean you can use a 20V plug/adapter instead? I read an article about batteries in radios and some of them only last for up to 8 hours. I probably have the radio on for around 1 hour in the morning and again for about the same time in the evening, but don't fancy having to change or recharge batteries about every 4 days.

Plenty in stock so maybe just message them on there.

Whatever you read, I read refurbished. Let's agree to disagree. It's a good deal, that's what counts
I have just decided to order one for the kitchen. Thank you.

It looks identical to my John Lewis radio.
That has a micro-USB plug on the side.

Good radio but there are no presets so if there are lots of stations that you'd like to switch between it's not very convenient.

I think that you are right about the micro-USB plug on the side - I looked at the picture of the white one and it does look like that kind of connection. I'll only be using it in the kitchen for my local Heart Radio or Radio 1, so it will be fine. I'll try some batteries, but depending on how long they last, I might end up buying a micro-USB plug for it. Thank you.

I have a DAB radio that's much bigger than this that is also powered by USB so it would be of no surprise really.

It's a shame you can't get internet radios for this money. I've kinda gone off DAB unless for travel.

An Amazon Echo mini or Google Mini works quite well as an internet radio though.

If it's battery, talking ftom experience you'll be lucky to get anywhere near 8hrs.

You wont find a 20v charger anywhere. Generally they go to 12v max otherwise you will need a high powered brick like those for big laptops. It seems way overpowered to be 20v though... sureley a mistake

For the deluxe version with big colour screen £19.99.

I'm reading it as new where it says the item specifics stuff

I'd also like to know if it comes with a power lead too

Like someone else the Voltage thing doesn't make sense when you look at the batteries, but this would appear to be the same information as on other site selling it which also state 20V (but they don't say if a plug is included to)
Possible, but is it not ment to say 240v

Great price, difficult to find them much cheaper. But consider paying a little bit more for a voice activated Google /Akexa speaker that plays WORLDWIDE digital media, plus they do so much more.

Have a Roberts sports that takes 2 AA 2800Mah rechargeable's when new lasted 18 hours full volume with earphones, with this having 4 AA and using earphones could easy get 8 hours even with speaker?
As a rule Dab radios you plug in the mains, you don't use them on batteries as the eat them.

I don't know your model of Roberts radio, but as some of them cost around £100, they would negate lasting longer on batteries.

A Dab radio to batteries is like a Range Rover to a Petrol Station (only the Dab radio is more reliable)
Got a message back from them when asking them does it come with a power lead

This is a brand new item and will be complete with all it's accessories as provided by the manufacturer.

so is that a yes or a no lol

I believe you're right. They are nigh on identical to the John Lewis spectrum radio except for the tuning and volume knobs being a different shape. These have a problem in that the usb socket on them breaks very easily so they end up being battery powered only. Check out used ones on fleabay. Almost all have this problem. As for power consumption, we get 2 to 3 days out of a set of rechargeables. Great little radio. I've ordered 3.

Please do let us know if you require further assistance.

Mine turned up yesterday and I'm really pleased with it. Also, it does come with a plug.
Mine was supposed to be delivered by Hermes 2 days ago, but evidently now is still in the warehouse. Perhaps the Hermes driver has resigned under the weight of the deliveries?
