Morrisons have dropped there Pork Shoulder down to £2.50 KG this week. Makes great Pulled Pork and if you go instore and ask at the Butchers Counter they will cut the rind off for you and re-tie it. Have bought them up to 4kg in size from them in the past.

Lovely with a vinegar based sauce poured over the meat once pulled and some Monterey Jack melted over it, and for a bit of gentle heat add some homemade chipotle coleslaw, for the people that like a bit of heat with theirs.

But there is lots of flavor in the skin/fat. The rub will go onto the meat if you leave it low and slow for 6 hours.

It has been noted by forensics & fire investigators that when people have been involved in incidents involving fire it smells like pork
Bought this two weeks ago ,never again,fattiest Id ever seen when cut into,about half was thrown away .So be careful and try to see how much isn't fat .
.It's suitable for pulled pork as recommended but don't look at it when it's gone cold and congealed because the fat is scary. .
£2 for 50kg is probably 25kg of rind - cold!
