But how good is gearbest, and how long do you need to wait for delivery. What about any other charges?
Its showing as £13.97 for me.

BRILLIANT FUN

This little quadcopter is simply amazing! It's really fast and powerful and has a good range of about 100 foot.

It has 3 power settings. If it's windy the high setting is needed.

It's robust and has taken some huge crashes.

Charge time is about 30mins
Flight time is about 6mins

Good luck if it ever arrives!
It's showing £ 13.97. Have you got a code to get it for £ 10.52...
Looks like its about that price ($15.50) shipped from China
Gear best is fine, I have ordered loads from there.
Spotted this yesterday on BangGood when I ordered the mobile power packs from HUKD.
£10.62 with free shipping (RM 2nd class 3-5 days it reckons..)

I ordered some earphones from Gearbest in early July and still haven't received them.

After contacting them, they offered to send another one if I agree to pay for premium shipping or I can have a $10 gift voucher to spend at their site, which is less than the earphones are worth (and the last thing I want to do is shop at their site again!). They wouldn't budge from this position or offer me a full refund.

I've now filed a PayPal dispute - good luck if you use them!
It's a cheerson CX-10 (or clone of) very hit and miss if you get a good one, there's a few different PCBs versions and some are ****. Cold on this basis.

The cheerson CX-10A is more consistent and available for this price on aliexpress.

However my preference of nano quad is the Hubsan Q4. On the same site for £11.10 They fly much better, the quality is much much better.
On the negative side spare props seem to cost a little more and I've had two which the PCB has eventually died. My cheerson CX-10 is also dead.

Charge time is about 30mins and Flight time is about 6mins?

It will spend more time on charge than flight unless i am missing something.
Portable quadcopter? Much better idea than my non-portable one!!

It says charge time is 5 mins on this one. Flying time it does not mention. Surely they are the same product.

I purchased one of these from gearbest. About 20 days delivery and worth every day wait, these are so much fun to fly around. Also great intro to bigger quads.

Kids will love them

Charged in no time too
Gearbest are fantastic, although they were inexplicably on the exclusion list. Better than Bang Good that's for sure
These are really fun and with a bit of practice quite easy to fly, HOWEVER, buy extra propellers! They will break pretty quickly. Also look at a bumper, you can get them in sets on Amazon.

I have purchased about 10 items and all but one arrived. Gearbest say have to wait 60 day's until classed as lost. In the end I submitted a claim via PayPal who advised they will refund me at their own expense. I like gearbest but customer service is pretty shocking. they sent me same responses to wait until 60 days had passed even after it was already past 2 months. I'm giving banggood a try now and bought xiaomi power bank today under 8 quid.

You may be right. They say "ships within" which i take as the time it takes to leave the warehouse not the time it arrives.

Its cheaper on Amazon, if you prefer a more trusted e-tailer. amazon.co.uk/Che…son

Gotta be a mistake. No way it charges in 5 minutes.

It's to do with cheap lipo batteries and how they can safely be charged. Ideally you do it at 1C which takes over an hour. They charge at somewhere between 2C and 3C which I have to trust them is safe. Some batteries are supporting 4C which gives you 80% in around 15 minutes. But not at this size/price.

The best option is to go for the slightly bigger hubsan x4 with its swappable batteries and just charge up about 8 spare batteries!

If like most things on ebay shipping, can take up to a month. Just use your debit card, for items under £100 and credit card over £100. As respectfully your get protection under the charge back scheme and credit card protection section 75
I've had one of these for over a year, pretty good but relatively twitchy, due to the tiny fairly powerful motors and the low weight. I find my Syma X5C much easier to fly indoors but that might be too big for a lot of people.

I've spent about £150 with gearbest across 6-7 orders, takes a while but no real issues.

Quad wise I've got/had five, two CX-10s, X39 Skyking, Syma X5C and a custom built F450.

These minis are fun over winter, but for a child I'd either go headless so the CX-10A (forwards is always away from you even if you rotate the quad, makes it easier but is bad practice on a big quad). Personally I'd look at some of the slightly bigger sort of 4" type quads, loads on gearbest. The Husban is great for about £25 with lots of spares and easily replaceable batteries. There are a few hexacopters out for about £15 now as well which should be much more stable, although most are pretty good anyway.

Battery wise, it's the nature of the beast, until we see big technology advancements, don't expect much, even my big F450 with fairly high capacity batteries only give me ~12 min flight times. If you get a husban/syma with 5 spare batteries and a multi charger you can get around half an hour flight time.

Gearbest are awful. Fasttech.com is far superior when it comes to customer service. They have a forum on there too which is very handy.
I ordered a phone from them, about a month ago,and when I asked how long it would be before they would dispatch it,they told me that no more left in stock and were waiting for more stock a week later.Just checked order, and it still has not been sent out.Why can't they just state if something is out of stock?
I like how they take a picture of your parcel all ready to be shipped and upload it with tracking information
