nice one!

This is very tempting for my daughter with the long Summer car trips round the corner. Will these things be even cheaper in a months time though?

How easy is it to convert DVD films to DIVX? I know I could do a google search , but I'm being lazy and just woncered if anyone knew of a good guide to doing it (Free ideally!). Thanks

Actually, just noticed it's the same price at ]Play.com, but with Quidco, should be a few quid cheaper! Although it does say released 2nd July!

Thanks Muhammad & Mike73

just wondering if anyone got one of these?? any good??

also does anyone know how long the delivery would normally take with amazon??

cheers

Just bought it from play using the £5 voucher. So £54.99 plus whatever I get from quidco.

Very happy.

I got mine from Ebuyer through the Google Checkout deal, but they don't seem to stock it any more. The player is pretty good, and certainly worth the money - but beware, the battery pack is external, and attaches to the rear of the DVD player using some plastic lugs. Doesn't look too good, and I'm a bit nervous about the lugs snapping in my bag (I commute by train - and it's wonderful to pass the time by watching a decent movie!).

Otherwise very happy.

My order from Play has been dispatched so don't worry about the "pre-order" status.

Got mine today from Play. Total £52.59
Many thanks.

Cheers guv, looks like what I need, I know I'd be able to work it out for myself, but these things are so much quicker when somebody else has done all the hard work for you, and there seem to be so many different websites around, I thought it best to go for a recommendation.

How is everybodys dvd players faring? I just got one from Amazon.com and it's got two dead pixels, one of them right in the middle of the screen >

Any more reviews on this player?

I got one of these players in April 2007 and it plays everything I have thrown at it e.g. DIVX, RER 1, 2, 3 & 4 films. The pitcher is decent and bright. The only thing I can fault this on is the sound as this is a little low although when put through headphones it’s totally fine. :-D

I am even contemplating another so my kids stop arguing over it.

Hi, i am about to get onto a very long and boring 11 hour flight to thailand on saturday, does the battery pack take normal batterys i can swap around when they run out of juice or is it a case or charging it and then finding another power outlet after 2.5 hours, which you can imagine is going to be tricky in an economy class flight!

if anyone can respond to this it would be appreciated as time is against me

No battery compartment, once the battery pack dies you are screwed until you find a socket.
