Great deal, thank you for sharing - this will be perfect for taking the kids to their first festival.
Slightly cheaper at £12.60 at Go Outdoors if you are already a member (same company now).

Surely it's free to go outdoors!

These are great for the kids when camping and needing the loo in the middle of the night. It is huge though, when space is limited in the car

    True, I have one.

Ordered. Now on Amazon looking at bags. Would really appreciate suggestions on which are the right fit. Should I just buy any 5L capacity bag?

Save your money, just cut a hole in the bottom of it

The model in the second photo looks very happy about crapping in a bucket!

Why why why do they need a photo of a man smiling like he’s left something special for the next visitor? (edited)

I work from home. Feel bad enough leaving my desk, to take a break.
Would one of this last an 8 hour day? :/

Is that the bog standard one?

Perfect timing two weeks before Glastonbury. Now we can take a dump during guns and roses pyramid set. HEAT!

Very good price, they're usually about £30

I bought one of these a few years ago for the 2 festivals a year I go to. I use it with some special poo bags that I bought off eBay which turns it all into a biodegradable gel which can then put in the general rubbish.

That is a great price. (edited)

Good idea - any suggestions on which are good bags / right size to buy?

    Nice find (and first deal!),

I bet this would be handy just to have in the back of the car for any long journeys with young kids and/or old people

Serious question. If you used this in public isn't it likely to be illegal? Public exposure?

    Toilet tent?

I have this for my garden. Built a bar in it a few years ago and was becoming an issue having the guys trapse in and out the house when drinking. This solved that. Emptying the day after isnt the greatest but I have a drain right outside my house it goes down!
    Miccheck1516's avatar
why are you collecting it all for the next day? couldn't it just go down the drain from the source?

What’s the chap smiling about? Looks very pleased with himself. What a creepy pic in this context!

It's basically a bucket with a hinged lid?

BLC discount 10% millets and go outdoors. 15% blacks (all same company all free delivery ATM)
  23. _g_'s avatar
These are basically just a glorified bucket - if you can and don't mind the extra weight, I'd try and find a deal on a proper porta-potti.

First of all, I don't think this can be used in public. Seriously.

Now, if I have to use it in a tent or in a private space. Possibly the following is a better product. It is like a Horse shoe shower stool. It can be folded saving space. And the price is about 3 pounds. I am thinking by adding any kettle with this. Buying a horse shoe shower stool is really expensive in the UK! Chinese have very smart ideas and products on some daily life essentials.

Bought this from Go Outdoors (they have free delivery ATM). I opened the box and it smelt like pee. No inner packaging. Someone had clearly used and returned it.

The inner bucket is deeper than I expected.
The entire thing is the size of a mop bucket.

I'm bringing mine to a festival and using commode Prosorb bags and sheets (Amazon) and a popup tent. Hoping to avoid the long drops.
