Any good?

I wouldn't think so, I used to have the AA recommended one that was twice the size of this, I think it only worked twice, it's literally just a battery encased in plastic. I spent more time recharging the power pack than using it to start my car when the battery went flat (I don't use my car much).

I wouldn't waste my money on this.
Dodgy jump leads!....Don't get me started!
Look for the Yaber brand. I bought a couple of weeks ago and it started my diesel first time.I paid 59.99 but well worthwhile purchase and peace of mind
I have this one and used it on 3 petrol cars one night, It worked very well.
All for £15.00.

Mine worked great
I have a Noco jump starter. Used it on 4-5 different cars and they started first time. Definitely in a different price bracket but you get what you pay for. No point having a jump starter that won't get you out of trouble! Usually on offer during Black Friday

Hi, I am not sure about Arteck 800A Peak, but I can highly recommended Sealey E/START800 Batteryless Power Start 12v 800A Jump Starter
I know it's three times more expensive, but it works and it's really easy to use. Forget about checking if it's charged...

Got this on April '19, it's British made, there is no battery, so you do not charge it and keep it charged.
Inside there are massive capacitors, you plug this to your "weak" battery before starting engine, charge from it for about 3-4min. After there is enough juice to run/start your engine. If battery is completely dead, you can charge it from any other car with 12V battery or lighter socket.
I have tried it with a little Smart car and my beast - 6.0L V12 BiTurbo. Works every time

Capacitors will loose juice in about 2 - 3 days.
I have this, jump starts a car about 10 times, charges a phone about 10 times, can charge multiple phones at once too. Get funny looks if I bring to the pub as it’s so big but it works great and charges everyone’s phone for the night

Not sure where you got the image from as the one stated here only has 4 and 5 star reviews.

I guesss most are alot alike. sons car wouldnt start the other night since it is now getting cold. he needs a new battery really which he can do later but thought this will help till he can afford it. after that we can use it for other things. Quite a few reviews on youtube which is why I went for that one. Havent tried it yet but reviews are good.

It was bigger than this one, so ergo a smaller one will be worse unless they have a magic way of producing more power from a smaller battery all of a sudden.

Althogh it was bigger it most probaly had fewer batteries or batteries of a lesser quality.
I would nevr buy a branded item like that as they tend to be generincally made and you are paying as much again for the name on it.
I guess you are talkng about this item which seems to be lesser spec and more expensive compared to the one I bought and the reviews arnt great either.

I have one like this (charges via USB initially) and have used it on my old car a few times and it worked every time. A light illuminates once connected letting you know when it’s ready to go and there’s enough current running through. Provides enough power to turn car over probably 3-4 times from flat, then just recharge, but certainly gets you up and running. Way more convenient than jump leads requiring another vehicle or battery.

I second that. I bought a Yaber 1000A (peak current) electronic jump starter in an Amazon daily deal for a similar price as this Arteck model when my Fiesta was having an intermittent battery drain problem that required me to have to jump start the car 5 times in the space of a few weeks before the issue was resolved (it was a faulty boot open sensor causing the drain). The Yaber got my car started first time, every time. It also worked first time to get a neighbour's 2.1L diesel car going so I can recommend the Yaber brand too.
