4 pack gas refills in Home Bargains are £3.99

You have been able to get these under different brand names for around this price for years. Even Campingaz brand versions were only £9 last year. Cold.

Nice set of decks...

Cheers OP; good price. Just love the fools that make cold comments about a price cheaper than they can get it.

So the price was more expensive than this, under a different name, so you vote this cold?!

And for all those people who are looking for a portable gas cooker, and don't want to use their time machine to go back and spend more... this is a hot deal!

Australia has banned them last year for safety reason but they are back now. With some more expensive stickers. link

Ordered thanks op! thinking this will be good for frying onions on BBQ days :P

Noticed B&M have 4 gas canisters for £3.99

Thanks for that - I found the link you posted very interesting. I have long had my doubts about these cookers re safety and wonder if the ones sold in the UK have had the safety improvements that the Oz ones have had?

I imagine using a gas cannister out in very hot oz increases the chances of one of them exploding. A hot summer's day in the UK on a hot beach, where you often see these things used, makes me wonder how safe they are.

We took 15 of these for our school's DOfE, we had 4 fires due to the bottles not seating correctly and spraying butane out the sides. Some of this may be due to 'sleepy teenager error', but it really shouldn't be that easy to get it that wrong. The bottles with the hobs on top are far safer in my experience.

Bought one from Halfords for £10 and have been using it a fair bit as the wife don't like the stink left by burgers/sausages etc. They are great, but now I am considering a double one with a bigger gas cylinder

Double one at Amazon,
Yellowstone Compact Double Burner - Multi-Colour by Yellowstone £12.72

Boiling Ring Hose Kit Includes Screw on Butane Regulator for 4.5Kg Butane by Continental £8.28
Not sure what gas.

Get a BBQ lol

Much better than Camping Gaz etc for actually cooking on.
Less ideal for carrying any kind of distance, of course.
Gas cans don't last long, but fine for occasional use.
