Plus a possible extra ~£1.40 if using Quidco, making it £32.47. Seems decent for a game that is £40 most places. It's bound to drop in price soon after release, but if you want it day 1, this seems the best option

Good price for what looks set to be a massive contender for game of the year. Good spot and plus one to the above comment.

Was thinking the same to be honest!

The way I viewed the original Portal was it being a long Demo.

As soon as you get out of the Tutorial Chambers, the game is pretty much over.

Dont get me wrong, I loved every moment, but they need to make it longer, and more than just test chambers this time.

An even better deal considering that if you buy a PS3 version you can get a free PC/Mac copy on Steam (though I have no idea about whether this is applicable to xbox 360 copies);

Anyone got a spare 15% code they can message me? Would be very grateful

Sad that the first was a nice budget title and this one is a full priced game but in the end if they put enough content in it will be worth it. I'm voting hot.

The first one was one of the most innovative games of the decade.

People forget the original was a part of 'The Orange Box' and not a stand alone offering to begin with. So the longevity was a non issue for me, got plenty of play out of the accompanying Half-Life 2 Episode 2 and Team Fortress 2! Also worth mentioning that the PS3 edition offers the opportunity to download the PC/MAC version of the game at no additional charge!

I'm curious how this will work exactly? If it's simply a matter of inserting the PS3 disc and linking your Steam account to 'open' the Portal 2 download, wouldn't this be open to abuse? Then you'd simply need to loan the PS3 game to other PS3/PC/MAC owners to unlock the non-console variant. If you were only after the PC/MAC version after doing the dirty on PS3 you could return the item conceivably! Although that sort of activity is not my cup of tea how would they put measures in place to stop it?

I would imagine you'll end up with a single use code or somesuch.

Though really is you just want the PC version it'll just be cheaper to buy it from STEAM.

Did you finish it? It picked up towards the end.

I can't get that thirst website to work.
The points show as banked, but disappear if I try to use them.
