when made order portal 2 on xbox or ps3 at checkout add this code

thats sad beause its cheap there loss though

seems a reasonable price to me, if you're prepared to go through all that! Then again, I've never used "Very" before. have a bit of heat and try and stop that freeze!

could be expensive if/when they retract the £25 discount.

this will be the last deal i post because voting cold on what is an extremly hot deal without any valid reason show this site does not work at all.

I used them for some Xboxlive codes and had no problem with the discount.I think it's when people abuse the code is when they retract the discount.

They have the right to debit the £25 back off you even after despatch - it's part of the terms and condition of the voucher (if they are misused). And it's legal because when you put in the order you are ordering the game at full price, and paying it in two different ways (credit/card and voucher), and if one of those ways fails they'll legally charge the other method of payment.

It's risky, and people voting cold (not me) may have been stung before. If you choose to never post another deal again because of this that's your choice, but people voting cold think they're doing a service at warning off people from a deal that could sting them later down the line. They're not doing it to personally get at you.

I appreciate what you're saying but to be fair I could create a dozen similar 'hot deals' every day by applying catalogue discounts for new customers and posting them here.

But these catalogue deals are fraught with problems and some members feel the need to make others aware that it not all plain sailing to get the deal posted.

Surely you wouldn't interpret that as this site not working as you suggested would you?

The fact is that Very deals go cold quickly, simply BECAUSE people HAVE been caught out with them.
There is a very real chance that once ordered, you will be charged.

Basically, if you recieved the code direct and are a new customer then you should be okay (no guarantee), but if you didn't recieve the code directly then there has been a number of instances whereby people have been stung for the cash some months down the line (and you don't have the option of sending the goods back as they have been opened). Hence why Very and Littlewood deals involving a code are generally always voted cold ...

As you can appeciate - finding out that you have in fact paid £49 for this sometime down the line can be very very frustrating, especially as you do not get any notice that they are taking the £25 from your credit card - it just appears on your next statement.
