This game has been on sale (for lower) countless times. I guess it is a good deal for those who didn't catch it in the past, but at this stage it seems a better deal to just get it in the Orange Box.

Yeah, you're probably right. Was good for me though as I don't have the Orange Box and had some MS points to burn.

Not a great deal but it is a great game.... looking forward to Portal 2.

Is this the full game or just dlc?

Also how long is it, never played Portal so very interested in this!

It's the full game. Length of the game is down to the player. Could be anywhere between 3 and 10 hours.

It's the full game, plus more! There are extra levels that aren't in the orange box!

...and as said above, the length of the game is completely down to the players aptitude at solving the puzzles, personally I had great fun going through this game and the achievements add a nice level of re-playability!

Highly recommended. I've probably had more enjoyment out of this than any other game on the 360 - even compared to full price titles. It's the full game, as originally sold in the Orange Box, plus 'challenge levels' that are separate from the main single player story mode and allow you to repeatedly tackle problems trying to finish them with the smallest amount of portals, steps or time (you choose which of the three you're going for - as the strategy can differ dramatically in each case). In most cases, you finish in, say, 6 portals - only to discover you need to do it in 3 to achieve 'gold', leading to realisation that there's some totally different approach to the puzzle that you've overlooked (or maybe I'm just dim ) Snap this up now and you'll have time to decide whether it's worth splashing out full price on Portal 2 that comes out later in the month.

Brilliant game. Even if you've played the Orange Box version, 600MSP is worth it for the 14 extra challenge maps

Thought Portal 1 was free in Portal 2 for Xbox owners?

Just for PC pre-orders/purchases I thought. Possibly PS3 as well due to Steamworks integration, but definitely not 360 owners. Valve and Microsoft have vastly different business ethics.

Oh ok PC only. PS3 owners will get it on PC as well (Portal 2) - don't think Portal 1 though.

Was mixing up Portal and The Matrix intentional? :P

This, and COD4, are the only two games in my massive collection of games on my X360 that i've gotten every achievement for.

Man I love this game....

Arguably the best part of The Orange Box on the 360.

Got it at this price a few months ago, hot for being Portal though

back up to 1200 points now :-(

I missed out on this one

But I'm still alive
