One of my first sets had 3 smashed dinner plates. Ordered another, and the last one they had, and yet again it has 3 smashed dinner plates. Peeved.

Did you get a refund or what? I ordered 2 sets - both had two smashed dinner plates so I contacted them via eBay and got a full refund and got to keep the unbroken items. So I wasn't peeved at all!

Yeah they refunded me for 2 of them but I've ended up with 12 bowls, 12 side plates and 7 dinner plates which isn't very helpful. I have 8 guests for Xmas dinner.....

Mine arrived with 3 smashed dinner plates. Did not look any further. Put in for refund.

I've been watching the eBay auction and they finally came back in stock yesterday so ordered another set in the hope that Atleast 1 dinner plate will arrive in tact. To be fair to Argos, they've been good at no-quibble refunds but it's still irritating. I see the price has now increased to £19.99 though.
