Seems a good deal? Cheapest I can find without fees.

It's tough to make a decision, I'm stuck between porting a great deal and borrowing more at a not so great rate with co-op, or leaving completely and taking this Post Office deal.

I wouldn't rush, they turned me down. I was already a customer as well and never missed a payment

Give any reason?

I want to borrow about 75% of the max that they indicate they would allow me to, hadn't considered being rejected!

Good luck getting this deal. We applied, perfect credit rating, large deposit, no issues at all but were turned down flat. Spoke to a mortgage broker and he confirmed that the deal is to get you in the door. Then they find all manner of excuses to offer you a higher rate.

Any arrangement fees associated with the posted deal? Lifetime BoE base rate +0.19% with Woolwich for me. *smug*.

Nope, no fees.

+0.19 is crazy, I currently have + 0.85 lifetime with co-op which is good, but borrowing the extra with that supplier is more expensive..

They put up a good rate and then pick and choose the most profitable customers. I had 25% deposit, probably wanted more

I am in the same position...my current deal is great (0.5% above BOE for life) but will need to borrow alot more at very expensive rate...The best I got was 5 years fixed at 2.3% from Natwest with £995 fees

First time buyer here....any recommendations for mortgage with a LVT of 40/45% mortgage of £160k

Got to say, mortgage deals arnt a credit card where depending on the criteria depends on the rate. It's accepted or not, depending on the circumstances. Income, expenditure etc. Any mortgage broker telling u that is telling u porky pies, however they will be able to suggest where u do have a better chance of acceptance.
