Runs on EE network, offers no 4G.

shame about the 4g..

*250 mins, not 300?

Post Office website says 250 minutes - it's not 300 minutes

sorry Rodman can someone edit my post seems tricky on the mobile app.

Great deal better than giffgaff

Can you pick up a sim from the Post office?

Can you use your existing sim & number

Can you cap this at £5pm?

If only it wasn't EE, signal is bad for me. Heat for price though.

This tariff seems not bad at all for an all rounder.

Post office network?

Wow there's a 2gb 500 min 3000 txt for a tenner plus you can get credit matching for every top up. Smoking

Good deal pal

Very hot feel have some great OP

Prices look decent, I want to switch to somebody from Giffgaff and am not bothered about 4G, so seems a very good option.

Thanks for posting

£10 for 2gig data 500mins + loadsa texts......

hot hot hot

Why is this hot? what can you do with 500 MB of data?

Because people are comparing the cost to what is available elsewhere. We'd all love unlimited data for a fiver, but realistically that's not gonna happen... 500MB is enough for some people, if you need more the other bundles still seem pretty good value (again, compared to the competition).

About half as much as 1GB

Double top-up gives you free bonus credit with the first top-up you make in every 30 day period. This free credit can be used towards standard UK calls, UK texts and UK data. Free credit cannot be used to purchase bundles.

does anyone know if tethering is allowed? I cannot see anything on the site either way.

Amazing deal. Didn't even know they offered mobile packages!

Ordered great for kids

What happened to that SIM only megathread that used to compare all the different offers? Is this still around somewhere?

I thought ALL new EE contracts and payg are now 4g as standard, if they use the EE network then surely it will be 4G by default?

I spoke to a EE salesman last week and he said that they don't do 3G contracts anymore

does anyone know if listening to your voicemail uses the inclusive minutes? (it lists 8p a minute)

could be tempted by the £5 plan, should do for me, only ever use about 100-150mb, so i'd be pretty safe.. free wi-fi just about everywhere these days and when your at work or at home, so i dont need any more than that.. other similar plans seem to only give 250mb on the £5 plans.. so hot from me.

Whatever the amount of your first top-up, we’ll give you the same amount in free credit right away to use on standard UK calls, UK texts and UK data – this free credit lasts 30 days
After 30 days any un-used free credit expires, but the next time you pay to top-up you’ll get another free credit to use over the next 30 days, and so on

Free credit cannot be used for

Calls and texts to Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man landline and mobile numbers and calls to non-mobile 07 numbers. These are not included in bundles
Buying UK bundles or paying roaming charges
Making and sending international calls and texts
Making calls to premium rate and non-geographic numbers, and 118 calls and texts
Making calls to any other types of chargeable numbers – these must be covered by top-up credit that you have paid for

I think EE stipulates some sort of deal with 3rd parties not allowing them to utilise 4G in return for using their network. If you want 4G on EE then you are going to have to get it directly from EE and pay a little more for the privilege.

The Post Office has been around since 1660. So yeah, pretty well established.

Read the T&C If you top up £5 that can only be done in branch and free credit cannot be used to buy a bundle, so you will not end up with a double bundle for £5. mobile.postoffice.co.uk/cal…on/
