Seems like the best deal around for AA or AAA batteries to me.
I've used them for years in remote controls and stuff, and I find that they generally have a pretty average life span, and are pretty consistent.

In store only. Comes and goes at my local branch.

Please don't vote cold just because it isn't in stock at your local branch, vote only on the basis of whether you think this is a good or a bad deal.

Thanks!

Should just change their name to Land

These are zinc-carbon batteries so they only have around a third of the capacity of alkalines and don't handle high power devices well (those that'll drain a set of batteries in a few hours).

For remotes and stuff they're fine.

Same price from last 2 years. Bought once very disappointed, not long lasting. Have to change often, with in a week twice sometimes
I'm more concerned with batteries leaking in remotes than the price of them...
wife says this is an absolute bargain.
she uses these in her toys and they always last a session.
pity i didnt lol

If you're using them for devices that will drain a set of batteries in a few hours, then you should probably consider rechargables or something.

I use them in motion-detecting night lights and they have lasted around 8 months each time. As you said, in remotes they last well over a year, so it all depends on what you're using them for I guess.
