To be honest, I refuse to buy anything other than these (and the B&M Panasonics) for the boys Xbox One controllers. I have bought him Duracell recharagables, Xbox One recharge adapters, the lot, and they all end up eaten by some mysterious bedroom monster. I've even pulled one recharge unit out of the washing machine (don't ask!)

Definitely worth having in the house, I appreciate I may use many more of these over a long duration of time accumulating to a higher cost, but I don't care, because I see it as a quid a time Heat from me man.

crap. The more batteries they give the crapper they get

Bargain heat added

I've bought only Duracells for years but it kills me to put decent batteries in the cheap flashing throwaway toys that my kids seem to accumulate. Some cheap crap like these are exactly what I need. Hit!

Are the 16 packs Alkaline ones though?

These batteries are rubbish and don't last more than an hour!!!

great for kids toys, that's what I use, or the Panasonic's obviously not Better than Duracell but worth the money you spend. HEAT

Never had a problem with any Poundland batteries and always use them in my remote controls and get many months life out of them.

Not a single leak, ever.

Don't be fooled into paying far more for something that doesn't really last that much longer.

Except that most alkalines last 4 times or more than zinc and are much less likely to leak crap into your device. But use whatever takes your fancy.

Absolutely fine for low drain items like telly remotes. Not had issues with leaking.

Used these on my mp3 player years ago to uni. A battery would last a trip there of an hour and I'd need a fresh one for the trip back lol.

I used to repair things like TV remotes and it was nearly always zinc batteries that leaked and the reason seemed to be because the remote was such a low drain device the zinc batteries would last beyond their use by date and that's often when they'd leak. Luck of the draw of course but I'd never use them for anything other than a torch.

Currently CPC are doing 40 alkaline AA's for £5.94 which is equiv 59p for 4, so not much more for a lot more performance

Kodak is just a name now which gets stamped on all sorts of low quality products to try and give them the appearance of value from a trusted manufacturer.

I do not understand why is it cold ??
This is Kodak a well known camera, battery brand .

They went bankrupt and sold off most of its divisions, these batteries are just an example of a company selling off its name to another company who put that name on any product it wants to. These batteries are almost certainly nothing to do with Kodak whatsoever.... same as Polaroid branded batteries and many other well known brands.

The batteries may be good but the brand name cannot be used as an assumption of quality

These Kodak batteries are absolute rubbish - bought some Kodak AAA Alkaline 6 Pack ones recently - they lasted no more than a few days in a Bluetooth mouse - replaced with £1 Wilkinson AAA 8 pack ones a few weeks ago - the first two still working OK!
