My local poundland has Kodak Battery packs (8 in a box ) on BOGOF

Note: We got some of these and they are RUBBISH! They run out nearly immediately and as soon as you put them into remote control/camera etc it says low battery!

For cheap batteries, a short life is expected.
I'd only buy duracell. More money but reliable.

Think we have had enough posts about poor quality batteries from poundland and other pound shops

kodak is supposed to be a good brand for battery too, so should give some expected good life, but the blue cheap batteries from poundland, a most definite no no for large drain, but okay for snall clocks etc

I looked in Poundland earlier this week, they are Kodak "Max", which if you take into account the Gadget Show's test makes them a very good price. Should be voted hot I reckon.
