Ah great! You can match the colour of the quality street to the portion plate, make sure you're not having too eat to many horrible toffees.

Do the edges of the plate count...?
Great idea, but as a lasagne lover, just like Garfield, to utilise this plate and it's healthy eating benefits, I would need to serve up my favourite dish by scraping of the beef into the protein quadrant, separate the vegetables and tomato sauce into the vegetable half, and plop the pasta sheets (scraped clean of sauce and meat) in the carb section? Similar with my fish pie and shepard's pie.

It would make a positive, health difference with my fried breakfasts though. The protein quadrant would be massively impacted. Maybe I'd sacrefice sausage, and resort to just bacon and egg. Veg.. do beans count.. or are they protein.. oh no! I hate fried mushrooms, but if it's healthier. But the bonus is, fried bread is stackable, so were I lose my sausages and maybe a rasher of bacon and 2nd fried egg, I gain a stack of fried bread in the carb section. I don't often opt for fried bread, as I didn't believe it to be healthy, but as the plate says I should, I really aught to.

I think if it takes a crudely marked plate to get people to understand how to eat healthily, what the NHS actually needs is a gun for preventing lifestyle diseases...
