Likewise, they have been this price for the last 2-3 winters at least. Word of warning though, I have found that these are closer to their expiry than those at full price, but usually all gone before they expire so not an issue

well if you have older kids who call round and nick them short dates are not a problem! I dont get colds usually just sore throats and these mean i can sleep with it. I dont overdose but they must save me a few quid over a winter

Unfortunately only 8 in a box. I fell for this when I bought them last week

They sell the tubes for 1 squid too which have 10 in them.

I feel a sore throat coming on

It depends 24/36 in a box then this is what they used to sell. For several years they have sold 8 in a box, which is just £land getting manufacturers to give you £1 worth of strepsils i.e no bargain at all. Occasionally they do have 24s from canceled export orders. The Op does not make clear how many in a box.

Ive tried these numerous times and they have never had any effect whatsoever. Waste of money. What does work for me ? Salt water gargles ... garlic ... soluble aspirin+honey+lemon.

No way are these a pound in the pound shop... what gave it away????

what is this product? never had it before...

Cold, just a smaller packet to make it look the same

A typical £ store trick of reducing the quantity or size. Don't fall for it. Expiry dates aren't to much of a problem. Iv used these a year out of date and they still worked.

24 in a box in my local

The old trick of 3 for 2 when the pack without a promotion flash is cheaper per item is another sales ploy. I've seen this for Bic pens (sticks are excellent btw) and their own sticky tape. How do you think they make their pennies, except on Belkin gear from bankrupt stock?
