Sorry 5£ I just edited
Bought 2 of these a while back and seems to working fine.
With items like this you do get what you pay for. A good quick fix for anyone desperate for a cheap battery and charge cable. Nice find Op
the controller doesn't need a battery it will work wired,

so long as the micro USB cable is left connected,

no need buy throw away batteries ever again.

The retail price is £12 about the same as official ones. I’ve had 3 official play and charge kits and all failed quickly. I bought 2 of these white ones and I’ve had 2 black ones with the dock for over a year and still going strong.
Higher Price isn’t always an indicator of better quality.

Yeah, I bought one of these before Christmas in Game for £7.50 - seems OK. Whereas the official ones haven't been great - the console had real issues with deciding the charge level.

Yeah that's fair enough. I've had two of These, one hardly held a charge and the other is still going nicely. I guess it is luck of the drawer :-)
What’s£ with£ the£ business£ ?
Remember when asking "how much is it" in Poundland was a joke (because, you know, POUND-land) ?

Hmm I've had my official one for 2 years and it's still going strong. The 360 packs failed regularly and I suspect it's cos MS used GP batteries (which are crap (had a few of their batteries that were in date leak etc.)), dunno about the Xbox One packs.
