I can never find these in Poundstretchers in Hull, or Home Bargains …I can never find these in Poundstretchers in Hull, or Home Bargains either, only the smaller strips. Best I've found are £1.50 when on offer in the various bigger supermarkets which doesn't happen very often.

always this been this price as far as as i can remember....in our local they are stocked at the front ..and they have a black hook thingy attached on the top...

Are these short dated?

Chewing gum over time becomes brittle & loses some of its taste though remains safe to chew.

Chewing gum is a very stable product because of its non-reactive nature and its low moisture content. Because of this, chewing gum retains its quality for a longer time than most other food products – so long, in fact, that chewing gum is not required by law to be labeled with an expiration date in most countries.

Not one seed from 4 packets of seeds I bought there last year even germinated; and this years crop got 3-4 seeds germinate from packets containing from dozens to hundreds of seeds.

Planted correctly in good soil with a light mix of compost and watered as required; my 4 y/o daughter was quite disappointed her flower trough only contained a few isolated plants instead of the riot of colours expected.

Anyone see "Fake Britain" this week? If not and your looking to buy one of these or similar, then please watch it online prior.
Very scary.

Not saying these are fake, but please be very wary!

Mine was like watching a candle slowly burn out as each element failed; we ended up taking it back to argos and getting half the money back.

Buy a ceramic heater instead, I've got one and its much better and isn't riddled with faults like this lump of crap.

Ironically cold

Usual price and not a lot of heat given out, really want at least a maximum of 2kW.

Elements don't last very long on halogen heaters in my experience.

Some items are passed their sell by date. In the Wembley branch, I overheard a lady complaining "how can you sell these past their sell by date" while hold a can of baked beans. I purchase fajita spice 2 months past.
