Need help with choosing? / Not Familiar with Powell Peralta sizes and shapes?
If you've never looked at the Powell Peralta decks before, the numbers may confuse you. Here's some info that might help you out a bit

Powell Peralta offer a couple of different shapes and sizes. They all have their own number that relates to shape and dimensions. There's also the K number, which relates to concave. Rather than copy all of that in here you can head to Skateone (Who make these decks) and see all the different numbers.

Brings back old memories. I’ve still got my pro setup somewhere:
    • Blind Gideon Choi “Lunch Money” deck
    • Independent trucks
    • World Industries TNT bearings
    • Alien Workshop Dyrdek wheels

It's certainly not what most are made of, but having skated one for the last few months, it's been solid.

Crazy cheap!! Cheaper than hanging an ikea print on your wall... If you're to old & chubby to skate anymore....

    That what I’ve done. 👌

I've never skated a Powell deck in the 20 years I've been skating. No idea if they are as good as they used to be. A lot of the older companies have shifted into being a shell of their former self. Is this one of them?

Yes is the short answer. Still cool decks but nothing like the old bones days. Commonly used in completes with other cheap components. Nothing wrong with them as starter setups though.

Hey Ken, I’m looking at leaning skateboarding never tried it before. I’m early 30s where do I start? What’s the best fully made boards to get? I want a quality board that I like the look of and try get into it. I’ve always been into the Tony hawks games etc and I like watch skateboarding street league, vert etc… If you could point me in the right direction that would be great’ ! Anyone else can add that would help please 😃

Assuming you want a popsicle style for doing tricks here… hight and shoe size somewhat dictates width of the deck. Loads of charts online for this. Width of deck then dictates truck width, if you don’t get a complete. Indy trucks are good. Reds bearings are good and usually the best value upgrade for any complete set up. Wheels is another convo, lots of options. Some good Santa Cruz decks 30% off at skate hut at the mo. More expensive than this deal, but proper pro models/ quality…
