Great find
Its ready for the replacement version that has come out and available in B&Q, which is a huge improvement on this.
The product has 5* 'impartial' reviews, the price is right for me, was looking for a decent quality rated product and this seems to tick the box, judging by the trade comments. It is on Clearance so no idea what the original selling price was.
They seem to be handing out £10 off £100 spend vouchers with most purchases recently so ask at counter before and could potentially save a tenner.
based on earlier comment have seen this is the updated version: diy.com/dep…prd

What is your opinion between the two? See one is brushless Vs old is brushed. As a question they have a standalone combi drill with 4ah battery is that the same as the one within the kit but just a lower spec battery?

The link for the standalone is

Am probably being slow and can't work it out!!!

I am no expert on the technicalities of these particular drills, I chose mine as it has good reviews and the price was within my budget. Like everything, technology moves on and performance has to be rated by the professionals.
OP, hope you don’t mind me saying so but you have not done this deal much justice at all.
This is a good deal, admittedly it’s not Makita or Bosch etc but the reviews on this set are exceptionally good.
The drill output is reasonably good but what the drill may lack on any particular job the impact driver will fill the gaps.
2 year warranty.
This is 18v not the weaker 10.8v set that has been posted today - this set has more power, and when you are in the middle of a job that power counts, the £10 difference doesn’t come into it.

When you take these facts into consideration along with how well it did last time out I think you’ll find had this been posted with a bit more attention to the detail it would have got hot.

Your photo shows just a drill - why not the impact driver too?!?

Last time it was posted! ...

How’s it a huge improvement?

The new advanced brushless motor makes the work 10 times easier than the older version, and the keep cool battery means that it can work at 100% all of the time, rather than the motor slowing down because of the battery getting too warm and having to throttle back the power whilst it cools down. If I remember as well, its a 20 mins for 80% charge or something ridiculous like that, it was showcased a few months ago, and was amazing at the Screwfix live events, diy.com/bra…uer

Marketing nonsense - a brushless motor may run for longer but how can it make work ‘ 10 ‘ times easier when the Torque output is the same?

You’ve got 2 batteries - when one starts to struggle swap them over and carry on as you were, you’ll not run a 2Ah battery out in an hour so no issues on waiting for one to recharge ( in an hour )

This is old stock that’s all, it doesn’t mean it’s crap far from it, Screwfix & B&Q are just making way for overpriced new stuff.

Well I am just going on from what I was playing with and tested, it was a huge differeance and I was impressed with it.

There was a little bit of a test there in my last comment - as the torque outputs are different with the brushless being higher

Not wanting to be argumentative but sometimes it’s fun to see if what you say can be backed up with knowledge.

Brushless is 20nm higher then it’s brushed predecessor, it’s 50% more money too, I’d stick with its predecessor.

Thank you Penny T , I am no expert on the product (I have been looking for a driver / drill) or HUKD expertise, although I use HUKD all the time. if someone can improve my listing that is good by me. I leave it to the experts. So many times people seem to find fault but you make your own judgement .

No worries, It wasn’t my intention to be too critical if you are going to post deals though I hope my comments help.

If you are looking for a drill / driver I’ve just posted something that may help.:)
