You strain your wrists doing that, your ment to use your fist, But i find that difficult, I have these and find them very good

I'm going to give them a go £3.78 is hardly going to break the bank. Thanks OP!

Ordered thanks, was looking at these a while a go, but seem worth it at this price.

Ordered thanks

Beware:

When I unboxed these Push-Up Bars I was surprised to see they weren't as fancy looking as they are in the photos where they look quite solid and glossy. Instead they are definitely very plasticky and have a matt finish with the Power Pushup's logo on them, which is not shown in the promo photos.

Got mine

I'm not being funny but I read the review on Amazon which says exactly the same thing. The mechanism is all I'm interested in, as long as I can exercise my pecs, delts etc without hammering my already smashed wrists I'm going to be happy as larry. I'm not expecting chrome or brushed steel for less the cost of a pint, and I don't think anyone else is.

its takes the pressure off your elbows and also stresses the chest , forearm and wrist more ..you need to do it for 20-30 mins ..say 10 slow controlled sets

probably woth a crack at the price but reading the reviews on amazon the is not the original product but a cheaper imitation

Got some, thanks op.

Muscle is heavier than fat so it is often the case than when people work out more they put on weight but look better, but maybe the kebabs contributed in this case ;-)

These weights are very light and not worth the money

X)

Just ordered - good find OP.

Denser, not heavier

This kind of gadget allows you to get deeper than if you were doing press ups off of your hands. Worth a punt if you're after cheap equipment, but don't be expecting huge improvements.

ffs out of stock

off topic:
i like kebabs, especially with chilli sauce

these are a cheap imitation of the better models - stay away these dont work as they are supposed to and the reason why they are so cheap. the motion isnt fluid and the originals cost over £20 for a reason

Contrary to what people are saying, these do work (i am talking about the originals)... just depends on what you're after. If you want to build your triceps and a bit on pecs, these are fine. However i would recommend spending a bit more and getting the iron gym because it is so much more useful.

-HTH

Take up Karate and learn to do it on your two knuckles.

Yea , there ok for starting out. Thou after a while you need more really. Which means generally going to gym and doing bench press and tricep pull down or push on the bar.

Some people dont like to start down the Gym untill they get back into shape a little as they are embarrased about how flabby they are. This would be great was to start off at home. I travel continually with my work so I carry a set like these around with me all the time as I often cant reach a Gym. They are great, as mentioned before, for really streching your chest and improving definition. I also use them for inclined Push-Ups off of a Chair or the Bed for working the upper chest muscles.

Ordered thanks

£1.10 + £5.35 shipping
In stock. Sold by zAvy Online @ AMAZON

Please dont waste your money on things like this. A normal press up is fine. Remember the sit up cage? Isnt the stat that there are 6 million of them lying in peoples garages and lofts? Same here im afraid. If you can do a pressup then put your feet on the floor and your hands on your bed, The higher your hands are the easier a pressup will be. You do not need to spend money on these.

Gimmick, to be filed away with Power Plates.

If that's not enough - learn to do it on 3 fingers

if these are so crap, can someone please explain why Simon 'i'm so hunky' Cowell has them in his travel bag? Heat added and ordered a pair just so the wife has something extra to dust

You clearly dont know what your talking about. These are not sesigned to make Push Up's easier, they are designed to take the strain outta your wrists, (bending them back 90 degree's is not good for them.) And to also increase the strech on your pectoral's. They are not designed, as you seem to believe to make Push Ups easier. They actually require more stength to use these to the full.

Just use two irons.

Strong dumbness, the idea of these is to align your wrist correctly for the press up maneuver, and also it adds height allowing you to dip slightly lower at the bottom of the press up for a far far more efficient press up than with a bent wrist. Even better than these are the ones that rotate so you twist your hand in on the way down then back out on the way up.
